The votes have been counted, the judges have deliberated, and the trophies have officially found their homes. After weeks of public voting and months of celebrating the businesses making sustainability part of everyday life, we’re thrilled to reveal the winners of the RWS x Honeycombers Sustainability Awards 2026<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This year’s awards were our biggest yet, with 33 categories, an expert judging panel and, for the first time, a live awards ceremony at Singapore Oceanarium.<\/p>\n

And you showed up. Over 37,000 votes were cast across the categories, while our Sustainability Awards coverage racked up over 79,000 page views, proving that Singaporeans are very much interested in knowing where they can do a little more good.<\/p>\n

The 2026 awards also marked a new chapter for the Sustainability Awards, with public voting making up 50% of the final score, alongside 50% from our expert judging panel. The result is a mix of established names, homegrown businesses and rising changemakers getting their moment in the spotlight.<\/p>\n

Meet Singapore’s sustainability winners<\/h2>\n

From zero-waste shopping and sustainable fashion to green hotels, plant-based dining and climate innovation, this year’s winners represent the many different ways sustainability is showing up across Singapore.<\/p>\n

For the People’s Choice Sustainability Award, it was JR Foods that came out on top with the highest number of public votes, while Bjorn Low, co-founder of Edible Garden City, took home the Sustainability Champion of the Year award for their longstanding contribution to the movement.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Kong Man Jing (Biogirl MJ), co-founder of Just Keep Thinking, was named Sustainability Changemaker of the Year, recognising a rising voice that’s pushing sustainability forward in fresh and meaningful ways.<\/p>\n

And in a new award for 2026, N&N Eggs took home the RWS Grand Sustainability Award, co-curated and presented by Resorts World Sentosa.<\/p>\n

Our first awards ceremony was held at the Ocean Restaurant’s Ocean Gallery.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Then came the big night.<\/p>\n

On 20 August 2026, we hosted the RWS x Honeycombers Sustainability Awards for the first time, bringing 160 guests together at Singapore Oceanarium for an evening dedicated to the people and businesses making sustainability happen. Held in the Ocean Gallery, the ceremony brought together nominees, winners, sustainability advocates, industry leaders and changemakers for an evening of awards, food, drinks, entertainment and plenty of conversations about what’s next.<\/p>\n

Beyond the trophy moments, guests could explore the Impact Showcase, meet sustainability-focused brands and discover the people and ideas behind some of Singapore’s most interesting green initiatives.<\/p>\n

There were plenty of memorable moments throughout the evening, from surprised winners taking to the stage to heartfelt thank-yous from founders who were grateful to have their work recognised. But perhaps the most heartwarming sight was watching nominees and founders cheer each other on. As names were called and winners stepped up to collect their awards, the room filled with enthusiastic applause, cheers and the occasional very loud roar of support. It was a lovely reminder that this community isn’t just competing for recognition, but genuinely rooting for one another.<\/p>\n

The awards may be over, but the work certainly isn’t.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe didn\u2019t start these awards because sustainability was popular. We started them because, hand on heart, doing nothing was never an option. We don\u2019t get to treat climate as somebody else\u2019s problem. If there\u2019s one good thing to come from facing this crisis, it\u2019s that it has given us each other. It\u2019s given us this community. The people in this room are your allies, your friends and your community, and together, we can face this climate crisis,\u201d said Honeycombers Founder & CEO Chris Edwards.<\/p>\n

The sentiment was echoed by Resorts World Sentosa, whose partnership with Honeycombers this year helped bring together businesses, changemakers and sustainability advocates from across Singapore. As Chief Strategy and Sustainability Officer Loh Su Kim puts it: \u201cWe hope the impact of these awards goes beyond the trophy. Our goal is to elevate sustainability-focused businesses, regardless of size, by creating opportunities for visibility, meaningful partnerships, and greater public engagement in sustainable living.\u201d<\/p>\n
