Beckoning you in with warm service and a relaxed atmosphere, the Holland Village restaurant is dressed up with wooden furnishings, terracotta textured walls featuring artwork that guests can purchase, and green-tiled tabletops.<\/p>\n<p>Hang outdoors at the pet-friendly patio and people-watch with your pup over happy hour drinks, or head indoors to grab one of the 70 seats. It\u2019s home to The Cabin, a 32-seater private dining area for parties and gatherings, and The Nook, a 10-seater booth housing Myx\u2019s lending library and vinyl listening lounge. Both work on an honour system for the community to borrow books or records, return them, and share their stash. Another appetiser to try, the salmon tiradito ($25) adds a bright layer of flavour to the meal with its dressing of Guajillo chilli and agave-infused white shoyu.<\/p>\n<p>But the mains are where the menu shines. I couldn\u2019t get enough of the grilled Iberico pork ($38), a plate of tender, meaty slivers drizzled in a toasted rice dressing, with pickled plum and arugula to cut through the richness.<\/p>\n<p>The Dirrrty chicken rice ($32), Myx\u2019s version of the Southern classic, is another star. Each juicy bite of beautifully marinated chicken pairs nicely with jasmine rice, which is made flavourful by onions, red bell peppers, chorizo, and confit garlic. If only the rice came in a bigger portion to savour!<\/p>\n<p>To end, the kaffir lime panna cotta ($14) is a zesty, refreshing delight. If you\u2019re a fan of the citrusy ingredient, you\u2019ll enjoy this version served with brown butter crumble and cherry compote.<\/p>\n<p>Prefer a daytime experience?
