Stepping in, the lobby is strikingly elegant, setting the tone for a sleek, comfortable stay. Outside, you\u2019re immediately in the thick of Da Nang\u2019s markets, a plethora of restaurants, and that vibrant Vietnamese city buzz. It\u2019s perfect for exploring without relying on transport, thanks to its location near the Han River and Da Nang city centre.<\/p>\n<p>The rooms are generous in size, polished, and modern, giving everyone space to unpack and relax. Even without connecting rooms, they feel practical for a family. We had two rooms, and they offered impressive views &#8211; one overlooking the iconic Dragon Bridge. It\u2019s extensive yet well-organised, offering Vietnamese classics, Western staples, and delicious treats. My family\u2019s favourite? Crispy fried banana and, surprisingly, the \u201chair of the dog\u201d cocktail station, a playful touch that adds luxury and fun (not that we let the teenagers get into that station).<\/p>\n<p>The hotel is home to four distinct dining spots, each offering something a little different. The Landmark Restaurant is an all-day dining venue, serving everything from generous breakfast buffets to relaxed evening meals. For your caffeine fix, The Chill Bean delivers artisan coffee in a cosy setting, while The Lobby Lounge \u2013 TWG Tea is the go-to for an elegant tea break, complete with a refined selection of TWG blends.<\/p>\n<p>For something truly special, head skyward to M45 Rooftop Bar &amp; Omakase &#8211; it\u2019s the highest rooftop bar in Da Nang\u2019s city centre. It\u2019s smack bang in the middle of Da Nang &#8211; walking distance to the famous Dragon Bridge and Han River, which is really the pride and joy of the city.<\/p>\n<p>My family also loved Han Market, a two-storey local market which has fresh fruit and street food snacks downstairs, alongside handbags, hoodies, silk scarves, lanterns and gifts upstairs. My kids were thrilled with their haul of headphones, manga figurines, and sneakers.<\/p>\n<p>Further afield, my personal favourite is Hoi An&#8217;s Old Town, which is a 1-hour drive from Da Nang. Who doesn\u2019t love old towns with lanterns and cobblestone streets? We thoroughly enjoyed our three-hour cooking class at Breeze Restaurant, which started with a basket boat ride before we headed into the kitchen and learnt how to make curries and pancakes.
