No, these folks don\u2019t just stop at strawberry matcha \u2013 think unique and seasonal flavours like bandung matcha cloud and vanilla cinnamon.<\/p>\n<p>As a self-proclaimed <a href=\"https:\/\/thehoneycombers.com\/singapore\/best-matcha-singapore\/\">matcha<\/a> lover, I had to try the bazaar-exclusive pistachio matcha ($9) along with the <a href=\"https:\/\/thehoneycombers.com\/singapore\/dubai-chewy-cookie-singapore\/\">viral Dubai chewy cookie<\/a> as an add-on ($6). The matcha is smooth and earthy, but the pistachio taste is subtle, overshadowed by the chocolate syrup. The Dubai chewy cookie is soft on the outer mochi layer, with a satisfying crunchy bite in the middle. It\u2019s not overly sweet like I imagined. Yes, they\u2019re the ones serving up cheese wheel pastas. I tried the steak carbonara ($15), where the pasta is tossed directly in the cheese wheel before serving, which gives it that rich, creamy cheesy coating.<\/p>\n<p>Flavour-wise, it\u2019s nicely seasoned and satisfying on its own. The steak is a little inconsistent; some pieces are tender while others are slightly tougher. Thankfully, the pasta carried the dish. This Chinese Muslim stall blew my mind with the roti. Each piece is handmade and deep-fried on the spot, so patience is key. If you\u2019re in line for the next batch, expect about 15 to 30 minutes of wait time.<\/p>\n<p>I gave the chicken roti ($9.50) a try, and it did not disappoint. It\u2019s super crispy on the outside with a juicy, tender chicken patty inside. The pastry-to-meat ratio is just perfect, and it can be pretty filling too. Roti Awan (which translates to cloud bread) is known for its soft and airy texture, and is typically served with a variety of sweet or savoury spreads.<\/p>\n<p>I bought a box of three for $15, consisting of Oreo, chocolate and ube flavours. Out of the three, ube was my favourite, and the bread really lives up to the hype with its fluffy, cloud-like texture. That said, it\u2019s on the sweeter, more indulgent side. They\u2019ve got some pretty wild flavours on the menu, including mala, Kit Kat and Buldak ramen. I asked for recommendations and ended up trying the sour cream and onion flavour ($7).<\/p>\n<p>While the seasoning has a prominent taste, I wish the crust were crisper. If sour cream and onion isn&#8217;t something you&#8217;d typically order on your own, I&#8217;d say play it safe with the classics. Turns out, it\u2019s a tomahawk set going for just $49.90. It comes with one massive tomahawk (at least 600g) plus two packets of nasi lemak. Each tomahawk is cooked to your preferred doneness, so do expect a bit of a wait.<\/p>\n<p>The steak is well-seasoned, juicy, and served with black pepper sauce on the side.
