This Korean froyo joint’s scoops feature a tangy and creamy yogurt (from $3 for 150g), with 20 toppings to choose from, including dried marshmallows, a range of cereals, and a sweet honeycomb that looked great in photos but was almost too saccharine for us. The pearls didn’t add much flavour, but we had fun drinking (or eating) this all the same. Go for it if you’re looking for something sweet and milky, with Instagram-worthy pearls.

For a fizzy option without the booze, Mr Sun Golden Brew ($7.20) is another signature on the menu. We were intrigued by the Buldak crepe ($11.90), featuring the viral Korean ‘fire’ noodles in a freshly-made crepe (which alleviates some of the heat). It’s a fun concept, but it didn’t land as a repeat order for us; it’s simply one of those “try it once” experiences.

We also tried the mochi strawberry crepe ($11.90), a recommended item. It tastes like what you’d expect: a crepe filled with rich milky cream, topped with strawberry slices and mini mochi balls that add a nice chew. For drinks, the Hisui matcha latte ($7.50) is a signature, but it lacks the umami notes we hoped for.
