I visited last year and instantly got what the hype was about: velvety acai soft serve that hits the sweet spot (pun fully intended, of course) without the guilt.<\/p>\n<p>If this isn\u2019t fate, I don\u2019t know what is. It feels oddly full circle to see Soft Spot settle into one of Singapore\u2019s most charming neighbourhoods, surrounded by pastel shophouses and cafe-hopping regulars. According to the team, their soft serve is made entirely from Brazilian acai berries, unlike other spots that might sneak in syrups or stabilisers. The result? A bowl that tastes indulgent without the guilt. The plain iciness might take some time to get used to, but that\u2019s where the toppings come in and make the servings shine.<\/p>\n<p>There are five options, with the Softspot for Love (from $9.90) being a crowd favourite. It comes with the soft serve base of your choice, along with almond flakes, digestive crumbs, granola, and pistachio butter drizzle. It\u2019s essentially kunafa chocolate \u2013 but reimagined, lighter, and healthier.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ll be honest: I\u2019m not a huge fan of kunafa chocolates. Most of them shared that they found out about the brand through social media, and were keen to get a taste.
