A weekend boozy brunch is an indulgent treat, and Pan Pacific Singapore\u2019s Sunday Funday Brunch at Edge<\/a> lives up to its promise. We\u2019ve nibbled our way through countless brunches and clinked cocktails at restaurants all over the city, but this standout spot is one we\u2019ll always recommend to friends. On a sunny Sunday afternoon, we popped by to experience the celebratory buffet, accompanied by vibrant live music, exquisite new dishes, and an adorable play area for kids. And it was nothing short of luxurious.<\/p>\n

Stepping into the restaurant, the first thing that caught our eye was the jaw-dropping array of food. Next, the classy yet comfortable space. Edge\u2019s sprawling venue is perfect for lively family outings with kids and big birthday bashes, but it also houses cosy corners for those on a romantic date.<\/p>\n

After a warm welcome, the staff ushered us around, introducing the buffet and enquiring about our seating preferences. We picked a table by the window for lovely views overlooking the Singapore Flyer – it\u2019s highly recommended!<\/p>\n

With the added charm of the live band\u2019s cheery tunes and chart-topping hits, the dining experience was off to a great start. We especially enjoyed a memorable moment when the Edge\u2019s staff dialled up the festive energy by singing, dancing, and engaging with diners. P.S. if you\u2019re celebrating a birthday, you might get serenaded.<\/p>\n

Families with little ones will appreciate the Children\u2019s Play Area, decked out with cute play tents, colourful tables and chairs. We loved how the floor was thoughtfully padded with foam to ensure the kids\u2019 safety. If your tiny tot adores toys, colouring books, and cartoons on TV, they\u2019ll be happily entertained. To top it off, there\u2019s a delightful selection of cookies, candies, and chocolate fondue. Sugar rush, here we come!<\/p>\n

From roasted and carved meats to freshly made pasta and local favourites, the choice paralysis is real at Edge\u2019s generous Sunday brunch. We\u2019re talking cuisines like Chinese, Malay, Indian, and Japanese, alongside all the breakfast staples and desserts your heart desires. If you get overwhelmed easily, we\u2019re here to spill the tea on what\u2019s worth making a beeline for.<\/p>\n

Wondering what\u2019s new? Start at the chef\u2019s special live station for the most buttery pan-seared Hokkaido scallops with beet puree and caviar. We couldn\u2019t help but go back for seconds! Another fresh addition is the charcoal barbecue station with succulent cuts like marinated angus beef short ribs and herb-crusted rosemary lamb chops.<\/p>\n

At the carving station, the grass-fed leg of lamb with black pepper sauce was melt-in-your-mouth tender, without a tinge of gaminess. Next, head to the seafood live station for Edge\u2019s signature salt-baked crab with your choice of salted egg yolk or chilli crab sauce. The excellent dish gave us the right balance of heat, tanginess, and sweetness, served with fluffy fried mantou to mop up the sauce.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s not all: save space for the breakfast selection with treats like lobster egg benedict and rosti potato, and pulled beef brisket aglio olio from the pasta station. We explored the endless selection and found Peking duck, dim sum bites, sashimi and sushi, and Penang char kuay teow. Those who want to get their money\u2019s worth can head straight for the freshly shucked oysters, Boston lobster, snow crab legs, Pacific clams, and tiger prawns.<\/p>\n

Sweet tooths, you\u2019ll be happy to know the dessert selection doesn\u2019t disappoint. We were in awe of the chocolate lava cake live station, alongside cheesecakes, tiramisu, ice cream, and a cotton candy station for kids. Our favourite? The bite-sized chocolate chilli padi tartlets, thanks to their bold flavour combination of sweet and spicy. Don\u2019t miss out on the divine hazelnut royaltine and silky durian pandan cake, too.<\/p>\n

So, is the Sunday Funday Brunch at Edge<\/a> worth experiencing? It\u2019s a resounding yes for us. After spending more than three hours luxuriating in this indulgent afternoon buffet, we\u2019d recommend it for its top-tier food quality, extensive variety, and friendly service. Plus points for the free-flow Champagne, wine, beer, and cocktails if your wallet allows. It\u2019s our idea of the perfect lazy Sunday with loved ones!<\/p>\n
