Come 14 September, Science Centre Singapore welcomes you to Parking Day 2024<\/a>! As part of a worldwide initiative to transform public spaces, its open-air carpark will be revamped into a wellness-centric festival.<\/p>\n

In line with the theme of Science of Happiness – Live, Work, Play, dive into an array of activities that highlights the connection between science and well-being. More than 20 participating organisations are set to host booths and experiences that will boost your mental and physical wellness. And yes, entry is free for all. Read on to find out what\u2019s in store!<\/p>\n

6 highlights of Parking Day 2024 at Science Centre Singapore<\/h2>\n

1. Step in and be part of the art<\/h3>\n

From vibrant colours to striking designs and imaginative forms, art never fails to invoke a sense of wonder and joy. Here\u2019s your chance to join in the fun and unleash your creativity. Make your way to The Palette House<\/strong> to try your hand at face painting before striking a pose with your fresh look in the photo booth. There\u2019s also a 360-degree video booth to let you get experimental with your angles and poses.<\/p>\n

If you\u2019re up for a more unique art form, check out Fendeez Kopi<\/strong> and get acquainted with the therapeutic art of coffee powder painting. Forget expensive watercolour and acrylic paints \u2018cos you\u2019ll learn how to express your creativity with coffee powder \u2013 and create art without breaking the bank.<\/p>\n

Over at Fashion Parade<\/strong>, marvel at the fabric mural and the 2m-tall Pink Earth. Symbolising hope and transformation, this iconic installation is made from discarded textile waste and has staged appearances at various locations over Singapore.<\/p>\n

An online haven for books and adorable merchandise from artists and creators across Southeast Asia, dive into a special curation of books and exclusive merchandise launches.
