A Unesco World Heritage Site since 1987, Ait Benhaddou<\/a> comprises earth-toned buildings made of rammed earth, adobe, clay bricks, and wood. The sparsely inhabited village sits at the foot of Atlas Mountain, along the former caravan route between the Sahara Desert and Marrakech. This breathtaking site makes the perfect backdrop for your photos and videos.<\/p>\n

2. Bask in Fint Oasis\u2019 lush, green paradise<\/h3>\n

If you plan to visit Ait Benhaddou, add this locale to your itinerary. Fint Oasis consists of four traditional villages and serves as another set for various Hollywood blockbusters<\/a>. Still largely undiscovered by tourists (which is a good thing), this tranquil oasis is where you\u2019ll only hear your footsteps and placid running creek water over the rocks.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s another famous attraction that heavily features the colour blue. A brief history about Jardin Majorelle<\/a>: the garden was created by French painter Jacques Majorelle in 1923; over a period of forty years, the artist painted the buildings and grew over 100 plant species<\/a>.<\/p>\n

After Jacques\u2019 death, fashion designer Yves-Saint Laurent (yes, the one and only) and business partner Pierre Berge purchased the site and restored it as per the artist\u2019s vision. Think of it as a rejuvenating spa<\/a> experience where you get to deep cleanse before hanging out in the sauna rooms. Whether you\u2019re travelling solo or with a group of friends, this is a good spot to unwind.<\/p>\n

One highly recommended hammam is Gaia Spa<\/a> in Casablanca, where couples can enjoy romantic relaxation. Spa-goers can also look forward to a plethora of massages and even get their nails done.<\/p>\n

6. Do go chasing the Ouzoud Waterfalls<\/h3>\n

How about another spot where you can be one with nature? One of the best things to do in Morocco is take a day trip to the Ouzoud Falls, around three hours away from Marrakech. This popular site features a three-tiered waterfall cascading over the El-Abid River gorge. It\u2019s truly a sight to behold. These falls add up to 110 metres in height, with the longest drop being 75 metres. Leave the sandals in your hotel and wear shoes with a good grip. While you\u2019re here, hike<\/a> down to the bottom of the falls and enjoy a lovely dip before breaking for lunch.<\/p>\n

7. Soak up this coastal town\u2019s laidback vibes<\/h3>\n

Well, you\u2019re in luck \u2013 here\u2019s where you can ride the waves with the wind in your hair. Otherwise, just lay a towel<\/a> on the sand, slap on loads of sunscreen<\/a>, and enjoy a quiet afternoon bathing in the sun.<\/p>\n

The best place to find the best bites is in Fez, the country\u2019s second-largest city. You can find anything and everything from street food to top-rated restaurants here.
