There\u2019s no shortage of good food<\/a> in Davao City, trust us. We ate multiple lunches and dinners – all in one day, no less – and loved every bit of it. Put Balik Bukid Farm and Kitchen<\/a> on your list for an excellent meal. Its emphasis is on sustainable living and farm-to-table cooking, and the eclectic interiors are designed with upcycled materials. You won\u2019t be able to resist its charm!<\/p>\n

Oh, and the tuna in Davao is divine. We\u2019ll never look at that fish the same way again. To sample the best, swing by Marina Tuna Seafood Restaurant<\/a>, where Duterte himself has dined. The sumptuous menu offers fresh seafood, seasonal fruits and tuna served in all kinds of delightful ways.<\/p>\n

4. Grab street food at Roxas Night Market<\/h3>\n

When the sun sets, night markets abound – and this one is heaven for bargain hunters, street food enthusiasts and everyone in between. Snack on grilled seafood and meat skewers, fried dumplings, trendy goodies like potato swirls, ice cream, and local treats. When you\u2019ve had your fill, stroll through the streets to pick out clothes, souvenirs and knick knacks that go easy on your purse strings.<\/p>\n

5. Trek up Mount Apo<\/h3>\n

You might wanna give this a miss if you\u2019re not into the stink. But for everyone else who loves the King of Fruits, Lola Abon\u2019s Durian Candy Factory<\/a> is where it\u2019s at. From humble beginnings in a home kitchen to one of Davao\u2019s most well-known establishments, this store is the city\u2019s version of Willy Wonka (minus the extravagant frills). Make your way there to snag durian macaroons, durian tarts, durian ice candy, durian ice cream, and durian candies flavoured with other fruits like pineapple and mango. The selection is endless, so go wild.<\/p>\n

8. Say hi to reptiles at Davao Crocodile Park & Zoo<\/h3>\n
