Buskers in Singapore recently came to light after a certain musician gained publicity (good and bad). The crowd he garnered was astonishing but also left us wondering about other great talents we\u2019re missing out on. So in true Honeycombers fashion, we\u2019ve gathered a list of buskers in Singapore worth checking out. Park yourself at spots outside shopping malls<\/a> like Ion Orchard and Wisma Atria, open areas around your neighbourhood<\/a> and outside MRT stations<\/a>. And remember to tip the performer!<\/p>\n

1. Arya Yunata<\/h3>\n

This singer and guitarist keeps us engaged with his heavenly falsetto voice and a setlist that will<\/em> include a breakup song for you to emo over. 2. Lyla Ng<\/h3>\n

This 11-year-old rising star has a voice well beyond her years \u2014 leaving us all wishing we could hit those notes! It\u2019s no surprise, because her father, Eric Ng, is a renowned producer and songwriter. You can catch her performing covers of trending hits and timeless classics at popular spots like Glow Garden in Sentosa.

3. Silver Hype<\/h3>\n

Ah, will we ever be as cool as this dynamic duo? These longtime pals, both in their 60s, only started busking in 2021, but they’ve already captured the hearts of passersby at Ang Mo Kio Hub, Paya Lebar Square and Hougang Central Hub. Their setlist is a fun mix of Hokkien and Cantonese tunes, with a sprinkling of English golden oldies because who doesn’t love a bit of nostalgia?

4. Fyrdauz Macbeth<\/h3>\n

Muhammad Firdaus, who goes by his stage name Fyrdauz Macbeth, performs unplugged covers of popular hits. Catch his soothing vocals and fantastic acoustic guitar skills at various locations around Orchard Road<\/a> and Somerset. Aside from the streets, he also performs at various indoor and outdoor stage shows including Esplanade and *Scape.

5. Jonathan Goh<\/h3>\n

Jonathan Goh\u2019s cheeky circus acts are so entertaining, you\u2019ll forget you\u2019re on the streets of Orchard Road and Clarke Quay<\/a>. Watch him rouse the crowd with impressive juggling skills, balancing acts and breathtaking stunts with a ladder. He sure knows how to engage the audience.

6. CJ The Bubble Girl<\/h3>\n

FYI, busking doesn\u2019t have to be limited to singing. Kids and kids at heart will have a ball of a time watching CJ the Bubble Girl\u2019s bubble busking. Be in awe at her magical show as she creates everything from big to small bubbles to ones in a big bubble. Yup, that\u2019s a lot of bubbles! She usually performs at Clarke Quay Central but you can also book her for parties too.

7. Jonquil<\/h3>\n

The singer-songwriter sings melancholic musings with her angelic voice at places such as Wisma Atria, the open space between Ang Mo Kio Hub and 51@AMK, and more. She\u2019s one half of the duo JQ x ZUL<\/a> (with fellow band mate\u00a0Raja Zulfikaar Abdullah<\/a>). They recently released their debut single \u201cFind Me\u201d, so go ahead and give it a listen.
