The acclaimed Australian artist has not one, but two experiences taking place in June. Following Cj Hendry’s Flower Market<\/a> installation is JuJu World, the world’s first inflatable experience dedicated to the visionary’s JuJu collectible series. Fans and visitors can look forward to limited, large-sized JuJus crafted exclusively for Singapore, and the first JuJu experience in yellow. The ticketed experience will run from 20 June to 18 July 2026 at IMBA Theatre<\/a>‘s gallery space.<\/p>\n

2. Ikea launches its legacy collection to great fanfare<\/h3>\n

We’re certain you’ve caught wind of the frenzy at Ikea’s stores in Alexandra and Tampines. Well, that’s ‘cos the Ikea PS 2026 collection<\/a> just dropped! The collection is all about playful functionality, where being practical doesn’t mean compromising on bold colours and fun designs. From inflatable chairs and eye-catching table clocks to flexible floor upligthers and tiered trolleys, the collection pieces promise versatility and character. Head to Ikea Alexandra or Tampines to marvel at the collection in action; it will be available online from 2 June 2026.<\/p>\n

3. A new experiential retail hub opens in Orchard<\/h3>\n

We’re witnessing the rebirth of Orchard Road \u2013 what a time to be alive! Scape<\/a> is ushering in a new era with the opening of L^ife<\/a>, a new lifestyle concept. Occupying the premises’ two floors, visitors can check out fashion, beauty, wellness, and more. Besides retail, you can also participate in workshops, life experiences, and content creation.<\/p>\n

L^ife’s beating heart is the two-year retail accelerator programme, created by Innovate 360 and Singapore Retailers Association, and supported by Enterprise Singapore. Brands participating in the programme will gain access to retail space and be able to nurture their capacities to accelerate success through mentorship, training, and business development support.<\/p>\n

4. Messina celebrates its first anniversary with a month-long celebration<\/h3>\n

Has it already been a year since the Australian brand launched in Singapore? That’s right \u2013 and Gelato Messina<\/a> is marking its first birthday with a sweet month-long celebration! It has introduced a limited-edition three-tier birthday cake ($120) featuring three flavours: Robert Browny Junior, Mr Messina, and You Make Me Unicorny. The cake will be available throughout June with a two-day pre-order notice.<\/p>\n

Other fun things to look forward to include the return of 10 beloved creations released between 2 and 15 June 2026, extra scoops available between 4pm and 6pm from 8 to 11 June 2026, and a collaboration with local bean-to-bar chocolate maker Lemuel Chocolate from 16 to 30 June 2026. I scream, you scream, give me that ice cream!<\/p>\n

5. Cloudfields’ second chef collaboration focuses on reworked comfort food<\/h3>\n

Tan Boon Liat Building<\/a>‘s newest dining destination has taken Singapore by storm, becoming one of the go-to places for food and time around the table. And now, we have one more reason why you should visit this buzzy cafe in Outram. Cloudfields<\/a> has collaborated with chef Takeshi Araki, formerly of one-Michelin-starred restaurant Esora, on a limited-time menu that reworks familiar fare into elevated creations.<\/p>\n

Between now and June 2026, feast on special items like the fried chicken and shiso linguine ($26, a dish blending an umami pasta with oyako-don flavour), and The Roasted Hour ($16, Basque-style hojicha cheesecake served with fresh green apple sauce and whipping cream finished with hojicha powder). But why stop there? Go on and order signatures such as the cacio e pepe fries ($18, a must-get!), negitoro and kimchi tuna meltz ($29), and the tiramisu caffe ($15, a not-so-sweet finisher).<\/p>\n

This week, National Geographic<\/a> compiled a list of top food destinations in the world, and Singapore made the cut. The blurb highlights our country’s Peranakan culture, Michelin-starred restaurants<\/a>, our World’s 50 Best Bars prestige, and hawker centres. 7. Welcome to the world, Ayaan!<\/h3>\n

Our country’s birth rate may be declining, but the same can’t be said for the Singapore Zoo<\/a>. The top attraction is abuzz with the birth of Ayaan, a male Sumatran orangutan born to Chomel via caesarean section on 18 March 2026. This is the first documented procedure in an orangutan where both mother and child survived. Guests can now see the pair at the orangutan exhibit, following two months of recovery and bonding.<\/p>\n

8. The King of Fruits is back<\/h3>\n

Is it durian season already? We reckon so, judging by FairPrice Group’s latest promotion. The annual $1.95 durian flash (600g to 800g) has returned, now extended across three separate weekends at three FairPrice locations. Durians will be sold in stores for a limited time each weekend, so y’all better run \u2013 not walk \u2013 get your hands on them while stocks last. Promotion starts at 9am daily.<\/p>\n

9. Let the drinking begin<\/h3>\n

The Singapore Cocktail Crossover<\/a> has unveiled the full programme for its inaugural edition. 14 signature events will take place from 9 to 14 June 2026, spanning across the city’s heritage neighbourhoods and culminating in a two-day festival weekend at Fort Canning Park. The festival will also see the debut of SGCX Bar Awards, a community-led initiative celebrating Singapore’s cocktail community. Get your tickets via Ticketmelon<\/a> now.<\/p>\n

10. We’re finally getting that full circle moment<\/h3>\n

Train enthusiasts and folks living along the Circle Line<\/a>, rejoice. The three remaining stations \u2013 Keppel, Cantonment, and Prince Edward Road \u2013 will begin operations on 12 July 2026, effectively closing the loop between HarbourFront and Marina Bay. Hurrah! But if you can’t wait, you can preview and ride between the three stations free of charge on 4 July 2026, between 9.30am and 9pm.<\/p>\n

Once completed, the Circle Line will have a total of 33 stations spanning 39km, all fully underground.
