2. A new home for live entertainment in Orchard Road<\/h3>\n

It’s not just fresh food spots popping up at Orchard Road. Say hey to Grange House<\/a>, Live Nation’s new destination for live entertainment. The 3,000-capacity venue aims to bring more artists, tours, and cultural experiences to Singapore, filling an important gap between the smaller clubs and our large-scale arenas.<\/p>\n

Grange House features indoor and outdoor spaces where people can congregate and hang out throughout the day. Look forward to a landscaped terrace and an all-day cafe and restaurant. The venue is developed with support from the Singapore Tourism Board and is set to open in mid-2027.<\/p>\n

3. Celebrated pastry chef and chocolatier launches wellness confectionery brand<\/h3>\n

Janice Wong can do no wrong in our eyes. This award-winning chef-artist will be launching Rei<\/a> in Singapore this month. The wellness confectionery contains no refined sugar or sugar substitutes \u2013 only pure ingredients. Sweet tooths can expect two collections for its debut season, created for different dietary preferences.<\/p>\n

The plant-based series uses ingredients like maple syrup, dates, and whole fruit, while the signature collection may include raw honey, eggs, and dairy. Rei will be available through an exclusive dessert menu at Le Jardin at Raffles Sentosa Spa, while selected products will be sold locally at Morrow Singapore.<\/p>\n

4. Welcome back, Singapore History Gallery<\/h3>\n

The National Museum of Singapore will reopen its flagship Singapore History Gallery<\/a> on 10 October 2026! The revitalised gallery lets visitors learn more about our tiny island’s evolving identity through diverse presentations of lived experiences, an expanded chronology of post-war and contemporary Singapore, and of course, the interactive Singapore Odyssea: A Journey Through Time.<\/p>\n

The gallery’s reopening coincides with the museum’s 139th anniversary, and everyone’s invited to join in the celebrations. Head down from 10 to 18 October 2026 for special installations, an art market, live performances, workshops, and more.<\/p>\n

5. Flossy Pon De Lion says, “Roar!”<\/h3>\n

Inspired by Mister Donut’s beloved mascot, this limited-time creation pairs the iconic Pon De Ring with savoury chicken floss and creamy Japanese mayonnaise. Those who like a little heat can get their hands on the spicy version, which turns up the flavour a few notches. The Flossy Pon De Lion is available at all Mister Donut outlets.<\/p>\n

6. A local beauty brand enters our radar<\/h3>\n

The artist recently performed at Rototom Sunsplash, Europe’s largest reggae festival, with a solo dancehall stage on 21 August and collaborating with Indonesian sound system pioneers Yella Sky Sound on 22 August 2026.<\/p>\n

She\u2019s also featured on New Zealand artist Emma Dilemma’s latest single, Neighbourhood<\/a>. Her brief was non-negotiable: it had to be uniquely Singaporean, so be sure to hyperlocalise it. And so she did. After an extensive refurbishment and renewal (and after bagging three stars at the recent Michelin Guide Singapore<\/a> ceremony), this three Michelin-starred restaurant in Singapore<\/a> is ready to welcome fans and epicureans back into its space. Diners can expect a bold reimagination of the interior, with plenty of earthy brown tones and soft, ambient lighting. Oh, be sure to look out for the dramatic chandelier made of candle holders while you’re there!<\/p>\n

9. Another local film feature hits the cinemas<\/h3>\n

Award-winning Singapore-led animated feature The Violinist<\/a>, fresh off an acclaimed international festival run (and being mentioned by\u00a0the<\/em> Prime Minister himself at the recent National Day Rally), will make its homecoming this month. 11. Paran Label is now available all over Singapore<\/h3>\n

Following its introduction at Paris Baguette’s Paragon outlet earlier this year, Korean wellness bread series Paran Label<\/a> is now rolled out across all 28 Paris Baguette outlets in Singapore.
