Since it opened in 1933, the car park at the entrance of the then-bustling pier transformed into a hawker centre at night, until the end of the 1960s. Try The Clifford Pier\u2019s luxe version of <i>Kong Bak Bao<\/i>, sweet soy braised pork belly with steamed buns, chilli, and cilantro, in which tender slabs of Iberico pork belly are used.<\/p>\n<p>No Singaporean menu is complete without a flavourful bowl of <i>laksa<\/i>, and The Clifford Pier version comes with rice vermicelli, quail eggs, bean curd puffs, and prawns in a spicy coconut gravy. But what got us most excited were the two-generation\u00a0Rickshaw Noodles!
