Yes, we love our Christmas shopping<\/a>, bottomless buffets<\/a> and log cakes<\/a> but nothing gets us merrier than experimenting with winter wonderland-worthy makeup looks. But wait, too much of anything and you might look like a mermaid threw up on you.<\/p>\n

To get you out of your style rut, we invited makeup pro Sneha Naidu<\/a> to show us how it\u2019s done. Sneha \u2013 who\u2019s absolutely gorgeous by the way \u2013 is a freelance makeup artist who\u2019s been in the scene for eight years, creating looks for both international and local media. Her mantra: \u201cfestive makeup shouldn\u2019t have any boundaries. Luscious red glitter and fuchsia fun lips<\/h3>\n

Nothing screams \u201cready to party\u201d than a red lip. Wanna take it to the next level? Add a touch of glitter for a fresh and youthful look. Sneha uses Nyx Professional Makeup\u2019s Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick<\/a> in \u2018Kitten Heels\u2019 and Becca\u2019s Volcano Goddess Glow Gloss<\/a> in \u2018Ruby Fire\u2019 for a shimmery sheen. The iridescent gold and pink pearls in this limited-edition crimson shade shine bright like a diamond. This lip look is more wearable and oozes festive spirit.<\/p>\n

Red lip too basic for you? Have a go at fuchsia pink (pictured above, right). Bold and completely versatile on every skin colour, fuchsia sits perfectly between your usual red and a hard-to-match bright pink. Sneha uses a mix of Nyx Professional Makeup\u2019s Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick in \u2018Subversive Socialite\u2019 and \u2018Pink Lust<\/a>\u2019 to attain a rockin\u2019 shade. Equal parts moisturising and oh-so-pigmented, this lip cream glides on like butter for an all-around moisturised look.<\/p>\n

Highlight on fleek<\/h3>\n

Rushed for time? Sneha suggests donning a quick highlight if you don\u2019t have Kim K\u2019s contouring skills. It\u2019s simple but makes a hell of a lot of difference by adding some dimension to your face. No highlighter? Just glide some shimmery eyeshadow diagonally on the cheekbone and you’ve got yourselves a smokin\u2019 glow up. Sneha uses Juvia’s Place The Masquerade Palette<\/a> in \u2018Giza\u2019 (you can purchase the palette on Shopee) to make the face pop.<\/p>\n

For a base that\u2019ll last through the night, Sneha starts with a hydrating and moisturising primer from local brand<\/a> The Sceptr Primer Cosmetics also stops your makeup from oxidising. Sweet! Tropical-esque peepers<\/h3>\n
