But if you\u2019re looking to shoot an out-of-this-world \u2018gram that\u2019ll explode on your feed, spreading FOMO far and wide \u2013 ArtScience Museum\u2019s Future World is the spot. Yas, we know you\u2019ve been there and done that but on 1 September this year, the exhibit gets a major refresh and it\u2019s time to pop by for a visit. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Since 2016, this super high-tech and interactive exhibit by teamLab, a Japanese interdisciplinary art collective, has called ArtScience Museum home. And we\u2019ve all spent several hours there watching our 2D crayon art turn into animations, creating our very own throne out of colour-changing blocks, and diving into curtains of digitally-controlled light particles. <\/p>\n<p>This September, we\u2019re in for a whole new treat. Some existing installations are making way for 10 new ones and that just means one things \u2013 more magical scenes to twirl around it. Oh, don\u2019t be too glum about letting go of the fun Chasing Crows installation (<em>Crystal Universe<\/em> is still around so yay!), the refresh also brings us six new artworks in the <em>Nature<\/em> gallery. Collectively christened <em>Transcending Boundaries<\/em>, the artwork somehow interacts with each other and morph in our presence. Photography: ArtScience Museum<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The first thing you see when you enter this gallery is a waterfall \u2013 a six-metre high cascading spectacle that runs along the wall and spills on the floor. Each particle is digital programmed to act just like water with the slightest touch or flick of your hand. Nearby, flowers bloom and die with time. We suggest you hang around for a while to catch all the four seasons in one tiny hour and bring a few friends \u2013 more people bring more butterflies out to dance. We hear the artwork inside is slated to change regularly, so every time you bring a new house guest here expect a different scene.
