If you\u2019ve got a big appetite, or can never decide on where to go for a good meal, then all-day dining venue Alley on 25<\/a><\/u><\/strong> is perfect for you. Located on the 25th floor of Andaz Singapore<\/a><\/u> (killer views are a given), Alley on 25 is a colourful collection of restaurants, each specialising in a particular cuisine (and cooking style).<\/p>\n

Alley on 25 is modelled after Singapore\u2019s long, winding back alleys and old shophouses, and even though it\u2019s five different eateries, they\u2019re all linked so you can easily hop from one spot to the other. Ready to feast? Here\u2019s what you can look forward to (along with some of our personal recommendations!):<\/p>\n

\n<\/strong>In the mood for some comfort food? At the Green Oven, it’s all about hearty dishes prepared in a single Beech oven. Try mains such as the spring chicken with bacon, Pommery mustard, and potatoes, and don’t forget about sides like the lobster mac and cheese and eggplant parmigiana \u2013 which, by the way, were our two favourites here.<\/p>\n

Order a variety of barbecued dishes to share with the gang at Smoke & Pepper<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

For grilled Asian delights…

\n<\/strong>Fans of barbecued-anything, make a beeline for Smoke & Pepper. These guys fire up the grill in the open kitchen and whip up your Asian-inspired orders, from hand-dived scallops with garlic-sesame butter and lime, to must-tries like the vegetarian burger. The latter features a chickpea-beetroot patty and tastes so good that even the biggest carnivores (like us) won’t miss their meat this one time.<\/p>\n

Auntie\u2019s Wok & Steam beef short rib noodles is the perfect dish for a rainy day<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

For Chinese fare…

\n<\/strong>Auntie’s Wok and Steam pays tribute to Singapore’s love for zi char, but there are plenty of dishes with a fiery Szechuan twist here. You can get your dim sum and (sustainable \u2013 yay!) seafood fix here with the selection of small bites and live, fresh catch, but we’re in love with the double-boiled beef short rib noodles with spicy Szechuan broth. Also, you might want to leave room for Mao Tai chocolate ice cream for an interesting sweet treat.<\/p>\n

Instead of cod, Plancha\u2019Lah! serves sustainably sourced Patagonian toothfish to keep in line with the hotel\u2019s stand on responsible dining<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Get the best seats in the house during dinner time at Plancha\u2019Lah!, where you can observe the action before savouring offerings such as A4 Japanese Saga wagyu sirloin and Kurobuta pork chop with Fuji apple puree. Go the omakase route and choose from the set dinners available here for a little bit of everything, including stars like the super umami Patagonian toothfish cooked en papillote<\/em> and the Pineapple Flambe with Sarawak black pepper, coconut ice cream, and Patron tequila.<\/p>\n

Go for the vegetarian-friendly caprese toasted sourdough sandwich \u2013 which comes with heirloom tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, rocket, pesto, and Kalamata olives \u2013 or be like us and do it your own way with a superfood salad, where you can take your pick from the salad bar and build a healthy bowl of greens and proteins.<\/p>\n

Want a taste of all this goodness at Alley on 25 without a major splurge? Pop by for lunch instead. Sets start from $25 at places like Auntie Wok\u2019s and just $18 at Icehaus if you\u2019re craving some salad (it\u2019s super popular).
