What better way to unleash your inner child than going back to your favourite funfair highlights at Singapore\u2019s largest carnival? We indulged in a second visit to create this guide \u2013 so you can head straight to the good stuff\u2026<\/p>\n

Calling thrill seekers aboard\u2026<\/h3>\n

A carnival\u2019s not a carnival without heart-stopping, spine-tingling rides \u2013 from Europe, no less \u2013 and Marina Bay Carnival delivers the goods. Swing 55 metres high and back down with the Mach 5<\/strong> \u2013 essentially a giant hammer, plunge into choppy waters with the Jungle River<\/strong>, or sail the seas with quintessential carnival viking ride Das Fun Schiff<\/strong>. Which one made us think we were about to faint? You\u2019ll have to find out for yourself\u2026<\/p>\n

And while this isn\u2019t as much of an adrenaline boost, we\u2019ve got a serious soft spot for the carousel, Gallopers<\/strong>. Of course, it\u2019s a quintessential carnival photo-op \u2013 those twinkling lights, the vintage carousel horses \u2013 you get the picture.<\/p>\n

Get into the games\u2026<\/h3>\n

Continue your maritime adventure by trying your luck at Catch a Fish<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 there\u2019s over a million prizes for everyone, and all you need to do is fish them, or feed the rumbly tummy of a hungry sailor at Big Mouth<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

If you\u2019re looking to impress your date with your mad skills, why not go for the classic Ring Toss<\/strong> and grab a plushie or two for your beau? (Hint: the best way to win the toss is to minimise the bounce, so throw your rings lightly!)<\/p>\n

Food and more fun stuff\u2026<\/h3>\n

Old school, new cool: as with the rest of the carnival, gastronomia is also best served with a side of nostalgia. Expect satay, durian desserts and muah chee, paired with a little bit of ambient magic from local bands. And if the rides still aren\u2019t enough for you to let off steam, these mass workouts<\/a> would do it for you.<\/p>\n
