From 8 to 10 September, Marina Bay Sands is organising the fifth annual <a href=\"https:\/\/www.marinabaysands.com\/sands-for-singapore.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Sands For Singapore Charity Festival<\/a>, an event filled with fun and family-friendly activities, with all proceeds going to local charities.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>[hc_component id=&#8221;146716&#8243;]<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Roll out the mats for a sunset picnic<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>There\u2019s no need to lug along your picnic basket for this one. Marina Bay Sands\u2019 Event Plaza will be transformed into a sprawling picnic area, complete with mouthwatering food from top-notch celebrity chef restaurants including db Bistro &amp; Oyster Bar, Osteria &amp; Pizzeria Mozza, and Adrift.<\/p>\n<p>Sing along to local acts such as the seven-piece multilingual group, Too Much Drama, and pop-rock band, The Summer State, on 8 and 9 September. If you have a penchant for classical tunes, an exciting musical ensemble led by Grammy-nominated Singaporean conductor, Darrell Ang, will also be performing at the Event Plaza on 10 September.<\/p>\n<p>The fun doesn\u2019t stop there: after filling up on delicious bites, chilling out to live music and catching the sunset, feast your eyes on Marina Bay Sands\u2019 brand new light and water show, Spectra. Ending the night with a spectacular display of lasers, projections and water effects? Led by Singaporean music maestro Darrell Ang, the Orchestra will perform popular classical songs like Chopin\u2019s <em>Piano Concerto No. 1<\/em> and Beethoven\u2019s <em>Symphony No. 5<\/em> \u2013 and all proceeds from the concert\u2019s ticket sales will go towards charity.<\/p>\n<p><em>The Sichuan Orchestra of China Concert, 8 Sept, 7.30pm, Sands Theatre, MasterCard Theatres.
