This eclipse will be happening between 1am and 3am in the morning, so be up early! While any open spaces would be good enough to see the eclipse, we&#8217;re thinking getting on higher ground would be ideal &#8211; or you can check out some of <a href=\"https:\/\/thehoneycombers.com\/singapore\/where-to-watch-the-sunrise-in-singapore-parks-beaches-and-waterfront-spots-that-offer-picturesque-morning-views\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">these picturesque spots<\/a>\u00a0like Marina Barrage, Yishun Dam and more to catch the phenomenon.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">There\u2019s also a total solar eclipse happening on 21 August and the Perseids meteor shower on 12 and 13 August, but both events would not be visible (sadly) from Singapore.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Another thing to check out after hours is the<\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/thehoneycombers.com\/singapore\/things-to-do-in-singapore-at-night-the-rail-corridor-is-now-glow-in-the-dark\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> <b>glow-in-the-dark Rail Corridor at Bukit Panjang<\/b><\/a><b> and<\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/thehoneycombers.com\/singapore\/late-night-restaurants-in-singapore-great-supper-spots-that-open-past-midnight-or-24-hours\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> <b>late supper, of course<\/b><\/a><b>.<\/b><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>While Singapore might be the last place you\u2019d think of when it comes to stargazing &#8211; it is a glowing metropolis of rooftop bars and rooftop restaurants, after all &#8211; you can still spot astronomical wonders if you\u2019re lucky.
