It&#8217;s hard to ignore her work, the most recent being a quirky music video about falling in love&#8230; with robots.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Like its name, the new music video for iNCH\u2019s track, \u201cSimple Kind of Life\u201d, is a homage to nostalgia with its arts &amp; craft props, old-school filters, and feel-good cheesiness. The video features a book-ish iNCH with a desk-bound job while getting wooed by a robot, and ultimately learning to love from said romantic android.<\/p>\n<div class=\"video-wrapper\"><iframe title=\"iNCH - Simple Kind Of Life (Official Music Video)\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/sdFJbDInACg?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==\" class=\"lazyload\" data-load-mode=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>The track comes from her 2015 release, <em>Letters To Ubin<\/em>, when iNCH actually uprooted herself from urban Singapore and adapted to life in Pulau Ubin. More upbeat than her pensive previous single, \u201cMousedeer\u201d, \u201cSimple Kind of Life\u201d is definitely made more cheery with the accompanying video, done by Manila-based artist Gerard Lopez.<\/p>\n<p>More importantly, in a Facebook <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/photo.php?fbid=10158760279435111&amp;set=a.135188920110.216060.891315110&amp;type=3&amp;theater\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">post<\/a>, iNCH mentioned that the video might just be a farewell to this phase of her life. Always drawn to projects she\u2019s truly passionate about, Inch Chua is already busy and moving on to the next phase \u2013 currently dabbling in theatre and the performing arts, playwriting, working on a documentary with The Discovery Channel, while also hard at work on new material to be released this year.It\u2019s not exactly the simple kind of life, we know.
