Slicing strawberries exposes vitamin C to light and oxygen, causing all nutrients to be broken down. It\u2019s always best to eat fruit uncut. However, it is believed that some brands on the market mill their chia seeds using heat which destroys some of the product\u2019s nutrients. For the most nutritious way to enjoy chia seeds, look for micro sliced seeds as they are proven to be high in fibre, gluten-free and trans-fat free, they are great for cleansing and detoxing and are delicious combined in food and drink recipes for that much needed energy boost.
