Sherlock Season 3<\/b><\/a>
\nAs full- time Honeygals and part-time Cumberb*tches, you can see why this one comes up tops on our list. We tumbled off our chair watching the Season 2 finale, almost <\/i>fell for the viral video of Benedict Cumberbatch explaining how Sherlock survives, and even tweeted #SherlockLives after the Season 3 trailers. If you\u2019re as psyched as us for the return of Season 3, treat yourself to the Season 3 prequel mini-episode<\/a> on BBC\u2019s YouTube channel before you dive straight into the three-episode The Final Vow <\/i>which\u00a0premiered on 1 Jan.<\/p>\n

\nSherlock<\/em><\/p>\n

Girls Season 3<\/b><\/a>
\nTouted the new<\/i> Sex in the City (but way more realistic), Girls<\/i> (starts 13 Jan) delves into touchy issues that could affect each and every one of us gals. From finding a job after college to bad break ups, pregnancy to a whole other load of (typical) feminine insecurities, it\u2019s easy to connect with this brutally honest series which paints a truthful picture of the everyday concerns females have to deal with. Did we mention that it\u2019s written and produced by the young and incredibly talented Lena Dunham, who stars as the lead Hannah in the series? You go girl!<\/p>\n

The Newsroom Season 3<\/b><\/a>
\nWhether you love it or hate it, agree or disagree with its perspective, you\u2019ve got to give The Newsroom<\/i> credit for having real guts to go behind-the-scenes in the cable news industry and offer alternative discussion on major (and controversial) events in America. After receiving a nod from the Emmys, The Newsroom was slated to kick off production for Season 3 early this year. We\u2019re expecting new episodes to run sometime in fall.<\/p>\n

Game of Thrones Season 4<\/b><\/a> (Editor\u2019s Pick)
\nThe highly-anticipated new season of hit fantasy series Game of Thrones has got its premiere date \u2013 6 April. Loyal fans (mainly fan boys\u2026ok and strangely our Managing Ed) are practically on the edge of their seat, eager to find out how this epic drama proceeds following the death of several important characters last season. Girlfriends, it\u2019s time to make some plans of your own \u2013 you might not be able to peel your man away from the screen!<\/p>\n

The Walking Dead Season 4<\/b><\/a>
\nWe weren\u2019t initially sold on the idea of a zombie series, but boy, were we hooked! \u00a0The Walking Dead<\/i> Season 4 took a mid-season break, which left us all hanging, and will return 9 February (season 5 premieres in October). We\u2019re all geared up to get answers on the questionable survival of key characters, how the group copes after being separated during the fall of their prison camp, and if they\u2019ll reunite anytime soon.<\/p>\n

\"True<\/a>True Detective<\/em><\/p>\n

True Detective<\/b><\/a>
\nUp-and-coming director Cary Fukunaga, who gained a cult following with his debut film Sin Nombre (2009) <\/i>and the tasteful interpretation of Jane Eyre (2011), <\/i>has been given the huge task of directing True Detective<\/i> (debuts on HBO 12 Jan). It tells the tale of two homicide detectives, played by Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson, who are on the hunt for a serial killer in gloomy Louisiana. With a stellar cast, gripping plot, artistic cinematography, and promising directing, we\u2019ve got our eye on True Detective<\/i> shaping up to be one of the best thrillers this year.<\/p>\n

Downton Abbey Season 5<\/b><\/a>
\nA family of upper-crust English aristocrats and their servants living in the Yorkshire country estate of Downton Abbey \u2013 not exactly exciting circumstances on first glance but this well-crafted British series explores the human condition so superbly, it is one of the most-watched dramas in the world with a highly devoted fan base (Honeygals included). Rumoured to be the fifth and final season of the franchise (we pray not), it\u2019s an absolute must-watch!<\/p>\n

\"House<\/a>
\nHouse of Cards<\/em><\/p>\n

House of Cards Season 2<\/b><\/a>
\n\u2018For those of us climbing up to the top of the food chain, there can be no mercy. And the butchery begins\u2019. With those last lines in the season 2 teaser trailer, ardent fans collectively whipped out their calendars and circled the date \u2013 14 Feb. That\u2019s when this critically acclaimed political-drama, executively produced by David Fincher and helmed by the steely Kevin Spacey, will be unveiled on Netflix. Psst\u2026 search it up on the World Wide Web and you\u2019ll find tutorials on enabling Netflix streaming in Singapore.\u00a0 You\u2019re welcome!<\/p>\n

Orange is the New Black Season 2<\/b><\/a>
\nJoining the Netflix original series mix, Orange is the New Black<\/i> revolves around Piper Chapman, a middle class lady sentenced to 15 months in jail for a decade-old crime she was unwittingly involved in. You\u2019ll find yourself bawling your eyes out with Piper as she struggles with arduous prison life, learns to deal with her cellmates, and fears for the demise of her engagement-to-marry. Though Season 2\u2019s premiere date is unconfirmed, rumour has it that filming is all wrapped up and we can look forward to new episodes soon!<\/p>\n

The Blacklist<\/b> Season 2<\/b><\/a>
\nBursting onto the scene in 2013, The Blacklist<\/i> won over critics with its edgy plot of Raymond Red Reddington, a former government agent and one of FBI\u2019s most-wanted fugitives, who seeks the cooperation of a rookie FBI analyst to track down his personal (you guessed it) blacklist of global criminals. James Spader does a darn good job as bad-ass Reddington, and you can expect more top-class acting from this veteran. The second half of Season 1 will be back Jan 13 and the studio has announced that Season 2 is in the works.<\/p>\n
