I\u2019ve long stuck with the belief that the only thing worth running for is the bus, but this is one running event that might just persuade me to slip on my trainers again. If you\u2019re the\u00a0ultimate Star Wars fan<\/a>, like yours truly, you too might want to get in shape for the first Star Wars Run in Singapore.<\/p>\n

On 6 May this year, Star Wars fans and fitness buffs will get to represent either the Dark Side, or the Light (if you\u2019re a wimpy Jedi) and take part in either a 4.5km fun run or a 10km competitive run held at Marina Bay. Participants in both categories will receive a Light or Dark Side-themed event t-shirt, medal (unique to each run category), drawstring bag, towel and a plush toy. And for\u00a0an additional $25 dollars, you’ll also receive a Star Wars electronic lightsaber that\u2019ll make your inner child squeal like a Jawa.<\/p>\n
