From mother-of-pearl mirrors to silk cushion covers and handmade ceramics, this place has it all! But that\u2019s not all \u2013 you can also request <a href=\"https:\/\/www.areteculture.com\">custom-made products here<\/a>. Do we sense a shopping trip?<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Chris, Founder &amp; Managing Editor<\/span><\/strong><b><br \/>\nFavourite holiday destination: <\/b>Bali<br \/>\n<b>Dream picks: <\/b>Bali is all about kicking back and enjoying a drink (or three), which is exactly what I would love to do in my own place \u2013 if only I had the time! I\u2019m inspired by Bali\u2019s vibrancy; the island is a riot of refreshing colours. As a creative person, I always find myself drawn to handmade items, like these ceramic pitchers. But I really have my eye on The Luxe Hotel Collection\u2019s extensive cushion collection, made of luxe and bright silks as well as more child-friendly washable cotton covers. So I was naturally attracted to this turquoise blue cushion cover that\u2019s customized with Korla fabric \u2013 gotta love me some personalization! The ornate embroidery on the other cushions is reminiscent of the intricate handiwork you find all around Turkey. But my favourite piece, hands down, is this unabashedly pink painting. I think I travel for street food and love supporting local designers, which means I often have noisy but friendly encounters with the locals. Decorating-wise I\u2019m definitely more pared down; I like solid neutrals like these throw cushions. But I also love colour, which means I do appreciate the odd accessory in stunning hues. That explains why I couldn\u2019t pass up this statement artwork \u2013 pink on black?
