Like most things, happy hour in Singapore<\/a> comes in many forms. Some days, you want a nice cold beer<\/a> on a rooftop<\/a>; other days, a liberally poured glass of wine<\/a> or whisky<\/a> in a swanky setting is exactly what you need to unwind after a long day. For these \u201cother days\u201d, dining hotspot Adrift by David Myers<\/a> at Marina Bay Sands has got you covered.\u00a0<\/p>\n

We\u2019ve previously told you about\u00a0Marina Bay Sands\u2019 crazy-good Social Hour<\/a>,\u00a0where you can sip two of Adrift\u2019s beautifully concocted cocktails for a whopping 50 per cent less on Tuesdays, from 6 to 9pm. The good news is a further 25 cocktails have been added\u00a0to the discount list,\u00a0which now features everything from a\u00a0classic negroni, to locally\u00a0inspired\u00a0creations such as the lepak local (botanist gin infused with chilli padi, palm sugar infused with burnt lemongrass, calamansi, and pineapple juice).<\/p>\n

What’s more, now whisky and wine connoisseurs are also in for a treat, as the celebrity restaurant-bar extends its happy hour programme with Whisky Wednesdays and Wine Thursdays.\u00a0Rally the booze-loving troops!<\/p>\n

Adrift\u2019s bar boasts a selection of over 50 whiskies, some of which are rare and hard to come by. Pop in on Wednesdays and have bartender Anadha Ruben serve you a perfect dram, whether you like it neat, on the rocks, old fashioned or sour, at half the price. On Thursdays, wines are going at $50 for a whole bottle, and you can pick from a list of over 50 wines \u2013 red, white, and ros\u00e9 from Australia, New Zealand, Spain and France.<\/p>\n

This is one of Marina Bay Sands\u2019 most iconic restaurants, so don\u2019t leave without ordering some of the signature bar bites, such as freshly shucked oysters drizzled with kaffir lime mignonette, plump duck confit gyoza and Japanese fried chicken with a miso mustard dip.<\/p>\n

Amazing cocktails, world-class whiskies, fine wines, and to-die-for bar bites for less – we really can’t think of a better reason to head out of work early than that. Can you?
