Are you a goth at heart? Then you'll want to try this black coffee from Bourbon Street Po Boys Tea and Coffee at Club Street
Do you like your coffee blacker than an emo teenager’s soul? Well, you haven’t had black coffee ’til you’ve tried Bourbon Street Po Boys Tea & Coffee’s new Goth Latte. This Robert Smith- and Morticia Adams-approved brew comes alongside a revamped café menu geared towards the daylight crowd – a new chapter for the previously whisky- and New Orleans-focused bar in Club Street.
The Goth Latte is an opaque black coffee drink that features activated charcoal for its sinister looks, along with a secret ingredient. And if you’re not a caffeine fiend, you can still flaunt your Goth inclinations with a mason jar of their Black Lemonade.
But if you’re one with a more sunny disposition, fret not – the new menu features a selection of po boy sandwiches like the pulled pork, blackened chicken, and the classic roasted shrimp at $12 each. If you’re hankering for something more breakfast-y, grab the “damn breakfast bun” along with a cup of coffee for just $9. Bourbon-lovers, you haven’t been left out; Bourbon Street’s bar offerings still remain, so stay late and keep the party going!
