We’re celebrating International Yoga Day in a big way this weekend but there’s also time for a flea market and some exhibitions…
Time to get stretched-out and loosey goosey – it’s International Yoga Day! We’re pretty keen to get suited up and on the mat but we’re also game for some edgy fun at a tattoo event and also some shopping at a flea market (we’re always prepared for shopping, duh). See you out there!
Weekend flea market vibes
What’s a weekend without a flea market or two? The Pilot Project is a three-day pop-up event featuring up-and-coming local brands by founders-under-35 showcasing their products and stories. Shop from The Sustainability Project, Our Bralette Club, SOAMI jewelery and get your sustenance from Udders Ice Cream, Somersby, Spatula & Whisk and more. On top of that, there’s free yoga sessions and a pop-up cinema event going on. Weekend settled.

Get your mats ready for Yoga Fiesta
In line with International Yoga Day, Yoga Fiesta will feature celebrity instructors, trainers and favourite brands. Join fellow yogees as you learn different yoga poses on this fun-filled day. Highlights of the event include dog yoga, or doga (we were equally surprised that it was an actual thing) where you and your furry friend get into a zen-like state together, silent yoga, and even yogalates – a fusion of yoga and pilates. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to relieve your aching muscles and achieve a sense of tranquillity.
