The Attaby Collective
It’s mandatory to visit The Attaby Collective when you’re in Joo Chiat. The multi-label shop is a showcase of some of the best indie brands in Singapore – think massive gemstone rings by Elverd Designs, stylish Turkish towels from Tara’s World and climate-appropriate Cote + Badt espadrilles.

Visiting Dansk is like taking a trip to Denmark. Located in River Valley Road, the multi-label boutique boasts a lineup of Danish names and lifestyle items rooted in Danish minimalist design. The boutique features womenswear from Jasper Living, jewellery from some renowned Danish designers as well as original designs from founders Louise Jasper and Betina Falster-Hansen. Fashion aside, you’ll find kidswear and home decor from Copenhagen Delights as well as popular cargo bikes from Danish Nihola.

We’ve been fans of Actually since forever, so naturally, we’re going to tell you that this cutting-edge multi-label lifestyle store is a definite can’t-miss. The outlet in orchardgateway is Actually’s biggest one to date and their best one yet with a slew of the coolest clothing and accessories from brands like Fjallraven Kanken, Spitfire, and Dr. Denim Jeansmaker that’ll tempt even the most hardened shopper. We’ll take one of each, please.

Gallery & Co.
Unlike your typical souvenir shop at the exit of a museum, this painfully hip retail-art-F&B space is the brilliant work of & Co., consisting of local industry heavweights Loh Lik Peng of Unlisted Collection, Yah-Leng Yu and Arthur Chin of Foreign Policy Design, and Alwyn Chong of Luxasia. Spanning the entire frontage of the City Hall Wing on the ground floor, it offers drool-worthy, well-designed products including books, design collectibles, and quirky slogan tees, as well as savoury bites, cakes, coffee, and sweets at the cafeteria.

Nana & Bird
Set up by two fashion-loving best friends, this humble little local shop tucked away in a quiet corner of the hip Tiong Bahru eestate offers charming little trinkets and edgy, up-to-date fashion pieces for the ladies. Look out for fab Singapore label Aijek and Aussie brands C/MEO Collective and Malaysian designer Cassey Gan.

We never skip Et-i-kit when on a shopping haul in Orchard. The boutique is the place to browse for pieces from a huge assortment of cult labels and up-and-coming designers, including Shona Joy, Alice McCall and Three Floor.

Supplies & Co.
PSA: the new Supplies & Co. store is now officially open in Mandarin Gallery. Its new locale is much like the original, only sleeker , with masculine interiors and an array of fashion-forward menswear brands like Engineered Garments and Meanswhile.

Threadbare & Squirrel
There’s a reason for Threadbare & Squirrel’s longevity; the boutique consistently delivers a well-curated selection of clothing and accessories. The selection caters to all sorts of style needs – think statement jade necklaces from Amado Gudek, Freda D’ perfumes, breezy sustainable trousers from MATTER and flattering dresses from Ginlee.

The super cool cult lifestyle and design boutique from Hong Kong delivers quality goods from an assortment of hip brands, sourced in Singapore and from around the world. While popular names like Common Projects and Daniel Wellington are found here, you’ll likely leave with a new favourite from an under-the-radar brand. We don’t blame you.

The lifestyle store is one of Singapore’s biggest design retailers, with over 890+ emerging and established brands from Singapore and beyond in its lineup. With products catering to everyone – ranging from homegrown beauty brands and jewellery designers to quirky home decor – you’re guaranteed to be flexing your plastic big time here.

City of Tomorrow
The future of shopping is here. City of Tomorrow is all about the experience, with seven themed zones curated with different brands. Over in the Queen’s Room, you’re invited to shop lingerie and evening wear, before kicking off your heels and sinking your feet with the massage machine provided. Tropical Paradise is where all the Instagram action is at, with wooden swings and rattan chairs to accompany the bohemian beach dresses and accessories on display.

The creme de la creme of Singapore’s craftsmen are found at Keepers, home of a local designer collective. Over 40 curated brands are available, with the lineup refreshed every two months. Big names include jeweller Carrie K, luxury bag maker Ling Wu, famed skincare brand Allies of Skin and fashion maven Thomas Wee.

We didn’t forget the lads – B Store caters to all types of men, with its array of accessories, clothes and bags in assorted styles. Everything a man needs in his fashion and grooming arsenal is found here, including button-up hoodies, rugged leather backpacks, versatile long sleeved shirts and even spa kits.

This pop-up store in Tanglin Mall is one of our fave treasure troves for eclectic decor. Pick up rugs sourced from India from Ruby Slipper Rugs, block print frocks from Cotton House, Colour Addict’s jewellery with semi-precious stones and pretty tropical printed cushions from Singapore Trading Post. The rule of shopping here is to grab it when you see it, as stocks are always limited.

This fashion playground is inspired by the stalls of London’s Kensington Market in the ’70s and ’80s. The endless racks of killer brands include cult French design collective Vetements, Japanese label Comme des Garçons, American streetwear house Anti Social Social Club and street style favourite DSM Spaces. Also available here is an athleisure-loving person’s dream come true: NikeLab. The space includes cool collaborations, high performance footwear and other limited edition kicks.

This European lifestyle store tucked away in Tanglin Mall is chock-full of little treasures for ladies and littles, including jewellery, leather accessories and cult labe; Sessun, which spotlights ethnic prints, breezy fabrics, and romantic dresses. If you’re shopping for kids, it’ll tick all the right boxes, thanks to cool kid’s brands like Sunshild.
