Let’s face it, no month is complete without at least one pool party. Thanks to FOC Sentosa, we’ve found our contender for July. Aquaholics is the epitome of splashing fun, with wicked music and performances by Aquadivas (don’t know what that is? Head down to find out). In the spirit of revelry, this event will also feature a wide range of drinks, from the lighter stuff such as beer, rose and wine all the way to highly spirited bottles of gin, rum and whisky. It’s time to show-off that pool bod, because this is one party you don’t want to miss!

There’s no better way to celebrate the 4th of July than by firing up the grill. For one night only, top 40s music and hip hop will co-exist in a space filled with party people who just want to have a good time. The first installment of PB&J will open its arms to Canadian Singer-Songwriter Lia, Perk Pietrek and DJ Tang, who will aim to get the crowd turnt with their talents.

Urban Ventures x Street Party

Take to the streets this July. For one day only, Temple Street will be transformed into a bustling district featuring art, music and culture. It’s guaranteed to be an absolute spectacle – a medley of street performances, salsa under the stars, and a steady flow of beats from DJs and live performers. If these extravagant celebrations aren’t to your liking, there’s also yoga on the streets, a free manicure and – get this – an underground market where celebrities including Jade Seah and Venetia Sng will be selling their apparel at a steal. And yes, there WILL be food. Renowned F&B names such as Brotzeit and HVRST will be there to complete the perfect experience.

Camp Kilo Charcoal Club: Queer Zinefest SG 2018

We find ourselves back at Camp Kilo Charcoal Club. Little wonder why, this place is home to some amazing events. On the 14th July, it opens its doors to Singapore’s first ever queer zinefest. Head down for a day of art, fun, and most importantly food, all in celebration of the LGBTQ community. From queer musicians to workshops and even zine-making sessions, there will be something for everyone. Oh, the best part? You’ll be in for a real treat because Squelch Zines will be bringing along their three-metre long zine library. Get in on the action by participating at the craft table, t-shirt painting sessions and grabbing yourself tons of cute merchandise. Save the date!

Zouk presents: Firebeatz

We all know the powers of a single Dutch DJ (think Hardwell, Afrojack, Tiesto), how about two? Come this July, Zouk will be opening its doors to the internationally acclaimed dynamic duo of Firebeatz (pictured above). This solid tag team has done remixes for EDM titans such as Calvin Harris and Martin Garrix and are known for their pulsating beats that’s guaranteed to blow the roof over our heads on the 14 July. You know you want in. We’ll see you there!

Another international act will be gracing our shores this July, this time in the form of DJ Yomi. Born and bred in Shanghai, this up-and-coming talent is the resident DJ at ASL Shanghai and MOOK, as well as Volkswagen and Audi. Whether you’re into hip-hop or just looking to have a good time, Bang Bang is where you wanna be on July 18. Plus, entry is free. Now you have no excuse to stay at home.

Are you ready to show some love? In collaboration with Pink Dot, The Love Ball makes its stand as a platform for the LGBTQ community to showcase their talents and serves to promote acceptance and confidence amongst people. Bring your A-game because that night promises to be quite the party – think a drag performance lip sync where you’ll pay homage to the songs that mirror our struggles with uncertainty and the quest for freedom. You’ll get to strut your stuff too! So come in your best outfits – hoola hoops, foam tubes, baskets and anything out of the box, just make sure it’s creative.
All proceeds go to Pink Dot.
