Look forward to an exciting line-up of activities at Singapore's first international private museum during Singapore Night Festival
Thanks to the movie series Night at the Museum, we’re convinced visiting one after hours will turn out to be a magical experience. So when we got wind that the newly opened Singapore Pinacothèque de Paris will be opening their doors till 12am during the annual Night Festival, we couldn’t help but do a tiny jiggle around the office – you can most certainly expect us to be the first ones in and last ones out!
In conjunction with the Night Festival (21 and 22 Aug; 28 and 29 Aug 2015), Singapore Pinacothèque de Paris will be extending its hours for four nights of extreme fun that includes an intriguing treasure hunt. Taking place at the inaugural Features exhibition – The Myth Of Cleopatra – the hunt lets you explore the impressive exhibition through a series of games. To join, simply gather three to four of your pals and sign up; the first 30 groups to register for the treasure hunt will receive an exclusive goodie bag.
No treasure hunt is complete without attractive prizes , of course. All participants will have a chance to be part of the grand draw, and awesome prizes includes a museum membership, 2D1N staycation in a swish hotel, as well as a rare opportunity to spend a night at the historical Fort Canning Arts Centre, where the museum is housed. The sleepover includes a specially curated cuisine, movie screening, and a special studio session, too.
What’s more, there are special guided tours happening every hour from 7pm onwards. The free tour not only takes you around the museum but also gives you insight into hidden facts and snippets of the history behind featured artworks. When it’s over, head onto Singapore Pinacothèque de Paris’ gorgeous patio facing Fort Canning Green and unwind under the moonlight at the chill-out party (28 and 29 August 2015). There will also be an array of delish international grub as well as tipples served.
Singapore Pinacothèque de Paris will be offering 50% off all ticket categories from 21 to 29 August 2015. Take this chance to see The Myth of Cleopatra exhibition, visit The Collections gallery that features masterpieces from Rembrandt, Monet, Pollock and Picasso, as well as explore the stunning Heritage Gallery.
