Cure your wanderlust ‒ or make it worse ‒ with these new limited edition jewellery pieces from one of Singapore’s most interesting jewellery brands, Carrie K.
For the first time ever, Singapore Airlines ‒ of Singapore Girl fame or as frequent travellers say, “SQ” ‒ has collaborated with a homegrown brand to create something special to mark its 70th anniversary. Quite a coup for local artisan jewellery brand, Carrie K..
The brand’s designer, Carolyn Kan, is known for her strong ‘support local’ focus, but her brand is also one of the very few Singapore brands that’s been successful at home as well as overseas. Besides, owning a piece of Carrie K. is the best way to show your ‘Singapore style’ and love for our little red dot.
The special limited edition ‘The North Star’ collection of necklaces and a bracelet was inspired by the ‘romance of travel’, highlighting ‒ obviously ‒ the North Star as the brightest guiding light for travellers for centuries, combined with a four leaf clover for good luck (you know, to stop your luggage from being sent to Angola or missing your connecting flight).
To help you keep your baggage allowance down (and leave space for more shopping), the necklace comes in four options – four different pendants that can be worn separately or all together for different looks. Plus, if you’re into matchy-matchy style, you can also get the bracelet to complete the collection.
The Carrie K. x Singapore Airlines ‘The North Star’ collection is made of 925 sterling silver; the necklace is $218 and the bracelet costs $128. The collection is available exclusively on Singapore Airlines flights now and at krisshop.com from March 1, 2017.
