We’re always looking for new stylish options to wear everyday, right? Korean style is super popular right now and easy to wear; here are some of our favourite places to shop ‘Kstyle’ dresses in Singapore
Society-A for on-trend dresses for work

This is the go to store – both online and bricks and mortar – to shop for fabulous, affordable and super stylish Korean fashion, especially dresses, in Singapore. Society-A has always supported regional, Asian fashion brands, but it is its line up of exclusive Korean fashion labels that are really worth checking out. We love the bright colours and stylish print dresses of young brand Tibaeg and the loose shapes are great when the weather is sweltering. There’s also the sub brand IT:TI that carries super cute casual dresses that are great for the weekend.
If you’re looking for something that’s got a little bit more ‘edge’ then try a dress from Lie. The sub brand of one of Korea’s top designers Lie Sang Bong and run by his son [who’s a bit of famous fashionista in Seoul], we love the sharp shapes and graphic lines of this brand’s dresses that are great for the office.
Another interesting Korean brand is Xoori if your style is a bit more glamorous and grownup, it has a dress for you. We love the deceptively simple lines of the brand’s dresses that stand out thanks to the luxurious fabrics used. There are great dresses for work, parties or even day-to-night.
Society-A is available online at society-a.com and you can actually try on the pieces at the boutiques located at #03-14A, Takashimaya Shopping Centre, Ngee Ann City; Spur Urban Mine #02-26, Plaza Singapura, 68 Orchard Road. There are also pop-ups at Isetan Scotts and Tangs Orchard.
Me-In for classic workwear dresses

Web based brand Me-In is the source of all things Korean workwear, particularly when it comes to dresses. This is a super, super affordable brand; the designer is a former model and well-known Korean influencer and her style is understated, very wearable and not too young. She loves a good dress. The dresses from Me-In in particular are very, very good for workwear. The brand also has shoes, bags and does some cute collaborations with various other brands like the recent one with Korean sunglasses label Only You.
Me-In is only available online at me-in.kr/english
Sects Shop for cutting-edge streetwear for men and women

Yes, the name might sound a bit odd when you say it, but Sects Shop in Orchard Gateway is one of the best places to shop for Korean streetwear, especially for guys. Run by the founders of Singapore fashion brands Depression, Not Cool Enough and Antidepression, Sects Shop stocks the coolest emerging Korean brands including Anderson Bell for cool band tees and shirts; DbyG Gnak for on-trend oversize shirts, shorts and trackpants; Masternumber for a more affordable version of Vetements style; O.Y. for text and slogan embellished hoodies, tees and ‘matching set’ shorts and shirts; and R.Shemiste for elegant, looks-like-something-a-Kadashian-might-wear-but-better pants, tops, jackets and coats. When it comes to dresses, this store is home to some great unisex pieces like long tunics and oversized tees that make perfect dresses for Singapore’s hot weather. The store owners are always adding new, exciting brands to their stock so it’s always worth heading to the store to see what’s new.
Sects Shop is located at Orchard Gateway #04-14 Singapore, and you can also shop limited items online at sectsshop.com.
H:Connect for cute casual dresses for the weekend

H:Connect is basically an Asian version of Zara with stores all over South Korea, Taiwan, China and now in Singapore at Bugis Junction. The clothes range from on trend tops and skirts for women to cool tees and jeans for the guys. But some of the cutest items are the brand’s dresses. There are comfortable, casual print and denim cotton dresses, at really reasonable prices, or loose floral dresses that are perfect for brunch dates with your girlfriends.
H:Connect is located in Singapore at Bugis Junction, #01-101 200 Victoria Street. You can also shop the brand online at sg.hconnect.com.
Ksisters for fun mummy & me dresses

If you’re looking for cute outfits for your kids, as well as yourself, then you need to check out Ksisters. This online store offers Korean style chosen by a real Korean fashionista – Lee Jungmin – who started it mostly to source great kids’ clothes that weren’t covered in cartoon characters. Brands on the site include Cocoa and Ccommame, and you can also shop the Ksisters brand for super cute matching mummy and me dresses for your daughters (no boys clothes just yet). The dresses are feminine, casual and loose; and another cute thing about this site is that the images all feature Lee Jungmin and her friends – very non-model, practically candid shots so you can see what the pieces will look like on real people. Prices are also super affordable, which is great if you’re buying clothes for kids, obviously.
Ksisters is currently only available online at www.ksisters.sg
