More is more: Level up your club experience at this one-night only, international theatrical dance extravaganza
How do you party like it’s 2018? Underground raves, superstar DJs, music festivals and mega clubs are all huge fixtures of the clubbing experience in Singapore, but one worldwide event from Amsterdam promises to take it all up a notch – and then some. Sensation, an electronic dance music event with all the bells and whistles of a theatrical showcase, is making its way to Changi Exhibition Centre come September 1.
Here’s what to expect: No less than 25,000 revellers from all over the world will be showing up in their best all-white outfits, a tribute to Miles Stutterheim (brother of Sensation founder Duncan Stutterheim), who passed in a car accident in 2001. But there’s more to it than just a well-coordinated dress code; this award-winning event is known to pull out all the stops when it comes to throwing an unforgettable bash. Think fiery fireworks, dazzling big-budget sets, a blockbuster DJ lineup and operatic performances of mammoth proportions, all choreographed around an epic theme. In a nutshell, it’s drama… and more drama.
The Singapore theme and lineup is under wraps for now, but past Sensation events have seen insane light shows, fantastically costumed dancers and major pyrotechnics taking over mega arenas in Dubai, Mexico and Barcelona – and 35 other countries around the world. In other words, you’ll be setting your Instagram on fire. Don’t believe us? Then see for yourself!
Don’t forget…
Sensation follows a strict all-white dress code, so deviate at your own risk! And yes, this applies to ticket holders too.
In the meantime, mark your calendars for 1 September and watch this space for more ticketing details. For the full lowdown, check out the Sensation website.
