Located in Jalan Besar, mod-Asian eating spot alittle tashi is big on Asian comfort foods featuring global flavours. With dishes like charred miso Brussels sprouts and crispy pork belly and chilled mussels on offer, we say going the communal dining route here is a wise choice. Botanico
It’s all about keeping things fresh at Botanico – a contemporary bistro that calls the Singapore Botanic Gardens home. Chef Sujatha Asokan runs the kitchen here, and, together with his team, puts out Asian-inspired plates prepared with European techniques. Order items like the iberico char siew and slipper lobster tagliatelle (fresh pasta cooked in a housemade Chinese XO sauce – mmm) and wash down all that goodness with drinks like the gin and mint Turmeric Twist.

All hail PS.Cafe’s new sister restaurant: JYPSY. Once you’re done ogling at the the chic space here, chow down on Japanese cuisine with options like aburi tuna sushi and smokey unagi fried rice. For dessert, go for the yuzu tofu cheesecake, or keep things sweet and simple with a cream puff (pick from flavours like matcha, vanilla, and apple pie).
