This revolutionary customised facial treatment from skincare hero Porcelain treats everything from fine lines, acne marks and pigmentation to dull and saggy skin.
Picture this: You’re at the beauty salon for a facial. All’s good until you’re overwhelmed with countless choices. Do you take your chances, select a random treatment and hope for the best? The answer is a hard NO. Selecting the wrong type of facial may cause more harm than good. You gotta know your skin type and issues, which sometimes can be tricky to pin down. Not all hope is lost though. Behold, Porcelain’s latest customised facial treatment with over 1,000 combinations so you can be assured that no skincare need or concern is snubbed.
Yes, the homegrown cult face spa and skincare brand – which is an advocate for luxury skincare and treatments and has won accolades in the beauty scene – is redefining the true meaning of customisation through the CryoZap facial treatment. Fine lines, acne marks, pigmentation, oily or dull skin causing you unwanted stress? This facial treatment will chase all worries away.
Say yes to your very own facial
What sets this treatment apart from the rest is the combination of high-level craftsmanship, medical-grade equipment and customised serums. Radio and light frequencies, sub-zero temperatures and micro-currents are used for effective results. But first, you gotta be sure of your skin type. Porcelain’s got you covered with an in-depth Skin Discovery Analysis where you’ll answer questions about your lifestyle, sleeping habits, allergies and skincare regime. Still uncertain? A skin analysis device that zooms up to 80 times into your skin is used so nothing is left amiss.
Now it’s off to the treatment. First up, a double cleanse is done before a generous application of your custom-blended serum. A Cryostamp with micro-needles from 0.25mm to 0.5mm is used to gently prick the skin to stimulate collagen production. Low-voltage microcurrents are also applied to enhance absorption of the serum. Don’t be alarmed by the needles as they’re minimally invasive with barely any pain or stinging. Let’s just say, this is a walk in the park if you’ve done threading or waxing.
Brr… it’s cold in here
Next, a Micro-Current CryoProbe machine (a flat metal device) is used to reduce your skin’s temperature to between -15 to -25ºc to stimulate and repair skin cells (specifically microcirculation, oxygenation and detoxification, if you wanna get technical). And boy, will it send your skin cells into overdrive. If this doesn’t stimulate them, we don’t know what will. Don’t worry if it gets too cold as you’ll be lying on a heated pad. Also, let your therapist know if it’s too much to handle.
Worried about acne scars and pigmented skin? This is where the Intense Pulse Light (IPL) step, a selection of pulsating light, comes in handy to destroy these nasties, reduce bacteria and enhance healing. Finally, you’re treated to a refreshing customised face mask and a relaxing shoulder massage. After the facial, you’ll be invited to have a chat with one of the consultants over a hot cup of tea.
The treatment showed effective results: Acne marks were reduced, our skin was glowing and felt tighter sans any dryness. Safe to say, we left feeling refreshed and ready to take on the world.
First-timers can sign up here to enjoy a trial at $220 (U.P. $459), which includes a complimentary Skin Discovery and Product starter kit.
