It’s not going to be your average lineup of pop-ups this August. As the month of our lion city’s day comes close, (cue the National Day songs), we are seeing more homebred brands coming forth to bring the best of Singapore, under one roof. Don’t forget to bring your wallets, these pop-ups are coming home, truly.
Keepers Playground of Infinite Happiness
Yes, we’ve already raved about Keepers Playground of Infinite Happiness but you will too if you get a chance to mingle with over 100 local designers and artists at this pop-up. Bring the kids, friends and loved ones along to this fashion, retail and food fiasco. Be sure to carry lots of cash, we’re pretty sure you’re going to take some Singapore-design goods home.

Journaling Festival
The world’s first journaling festival right here in Singapore? Seems like an event not to be missed. If you’re the type that hoards a stockpile of journals (bullet journaling ftw!), hop on over to this one-of-a-kind festival for a wide selection of journal related products like Leuchtturm1917 journals, Traveler’s notebooks, fountain pens, stationery and the largest washi tape pop-up. That’s not all. Get educated or pick up a skill with a sketching, drawing, washi craft, stamping or basics of bullet journaling workshop.

Wanderlust + Co Pop Up
The go-to jewellery brand for all your travels, Wanderlust + Co is back with a pop up at Robinsons. The Luggage Market
Probably the biggest flea market in the scene, The Luggage Market is back with a series of flea markets to help us shop responsibly throughout the month of August. Not for the faint hearted, the hoards of clothes may be intimidating at first sight but hey, you may just find some jewels in the crowd.

Anothersole pop-up
Anothersole, your ultimate travel footwear will parade their shoes in a pop-up at Tiong Bahru till the end of August. Get a look and feel of the luxuriously soft leather and meet the inspiring founders behind this fabulous label. These are seriously comfy AF and we love that this local brand is seriously supporting kids in need through its ‘buy one, feed one’ initiative.

InStitchu Singapore Pop Up
Australia’s leading menswear label, InStitchu will be holding its first pop up showroom in Singapore along with one on one appointments with InStitchu’s expert stylists. All you need to do is sit back, enjoy a whisky, bag some style tips, get measured and pick your premium fabrics. The pop up showroom will only be available for five days so make that appointment, pronto.

The Summerhouse Marketplace – National Day Edition
Come, celebrate all things local at the National Day edition of The Summerhouse’s marketplace. Get those creative juices flowing with an art Jamming session by Utter Studio or work those green fingers with The Green Co. and build a terrarium. Twilight: Flea and Feast
Shop till you drop (on cosy carpet grass) at Twilight: Flea and Feast. Another pop-up to celebrate our little red dot? Why not! The Made in SG: Creator’s Market will pay host to brands like By Invite Only, Pew Pew Patches, Perk by Kate, Hush Candles, Books Actually, Olive Ankara, Concrete Everything and much more. Musical acts, Aarika Lee & The Next Movement and Shak will be your entertainment for the night.

Shop, play and dance your way through this kampong style weekend pop up filled with great food, live performances and cool bric-a-brac to take home. The So Gelam Market in August will see a National Day edition with locally made and sourced items – all in the heart of Kampong Glam. Get a culture check with traditional games (how does five stones or chapteh sound?) and workshops where you can learn how to crochet a plant hanger.
