November is set to be a month of crazy wild fun; here are the parties happening in Singapore you won’t regret.
We’re nearly reaching the end of the year and a bit of partying is in order. This month, parties are happening on land and sea, with the best DJs fuelling the mayhem.
Zouk’s roster for November is absolutely poppin’ with the likes of Cash Cash (yes, they’re back on 3 Nov) with crowd-favourite dance tracks and Big Shaq (2 Nov) of Mans Not Hot fame (does ‘two plus two is four, minus one is three’ ring a bell?). We’re particularly looking forward to Salvatore Ganacci (23 Nov) – the Swedish DJ’s spins are known to be as experimental as his controversial dance antics at Tomorrowland. Any shticks that he brings to the set are just a bonus: will he recreate those failing arms? Or will he be smooching the speakers again? Who knows?

It’s The Ship
4 – 7 Nov
Well, if it isn’t the most talked-about event of the month! If you managed to snag a cabin on this Phuket-bound cruise, you’re in for a wild dance party slash vacation experience. When epic raves aren’t happening on the deck, indulge in whisky and cigar sessions or challenge your fave DJ to beer pong. Need to recover from the previous night? Yoga classes are available too.
It’s The Ship, 61 Marina Coastal Drive, Singapore 018947
9 – 11 Nov
This annual music and arts affair never fails to draw the crowds who brave the mud, rain and sweat year after year. Gear up for another bash at Fort Gate. (Heads up: the reduced capacity means that there’s more competition for the tickets this year!) Expect dreamy, subdued vibes by Cigarettes After Sex; Yuna’s well-loved indie pop tunes; and high-energy jams by Peking Duk that will get you on your feet. Also, don’t miss the silent disco affair and UV face painting that lets you party with a psychedelic glow.

Gimme Shelter parties are inspired by everything from the original house beats of Chicago’s The Warehouse to the unshazamable tracks of London’s Rare Groove parties. This is the place for all music lovers to discover forgotten gems and dance to throwback classics. One thing’s for sure: there’ll be no breaks for the turntables when this fiesta goes down.

Kilo Lounge Parties
Nothing lined up for the week? We reckon you’d find something of interest on Kilo Lounge’s events list – this club has a murderer’s row of parties every month, with an impressive DJ list helming the decks. You’ll see homegrown spinmaster, Erwin Linden (3 Nov), who always amazes us with long sets that the crowd doesn’t tire of. Lapalux (5 Nov)– hailing all the way from Essex – will be sculpting his distinct mix of evocative, almost abstract sounds to get the groove going.
