Think it’s too early to celebrate Christmas? These buffet highlights from Edge at Pan Pacific Singapore may change your mind
Bring out the tree and dust off those festive ornaments – the most wonderful time of the year is almost here! We’re looking forward to some serious feasting: after all, this is when Singapore’s best restaurants roll out pretty spectacular dishes for the holiday season. If, like us, you can’t wait to get started on the festivities, this one’s for you: Christmas feasting at Pan Pacific Singapore‘s Edge is off to an early start, and we’ve let you in on the highlights….
Have yourselves a classic little Christmas
For the traditionalists, this classic Christmas spread at Edge will be right up your alley. First, stop by the charcuterie station to pick up mouthwatering foie gras and cured meats, and complete your platter with a selection of over 30 types of artisanal French cheese. Next, hit up the carving station! Load up on delectable slices of roasted turkey, Champagne ham and lamb, all carved on the spot. Oh, and did we mention? The chefs will also be whipping up dishes a la minute at seven live stations, so you watch them work their magic in person.
Remember to save some room for dessert, too. We’ve got our eye on the Christmas-themed hazelnut praline raspberry log cake and one with a local twist – the chendol log cake.
The feasting never stops
We don’t really need another reason to indulge, but just for Thanksgiving (23 November), Edge will be presenting a one day-only dinner menu. Make a beeline for the herb and citrus butter roasted turkey – it’s a must-try. Even the seafood has a little autumn flair, with highlights like the baby lobster served with cider mayo. Then, seal the deal with a creamy pumpkin cheesecake.
Ring in 2018 with bubbly and brunch
End the festive season with one final blowout. Edge’s iconic Champagne brunch is available every Sunday, but expect even more special dishes on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. Enjoy fresh Atlantic salmon with apple and wasabi dressing, pick up scallops served with lemongrass and finger lime caviar, and sip on your free-flow Champagne alongside a slice of strawberry roulade. Sweet!
