Bookmark this cafe guide for that next time you find yourself famished while on an Orchard Rd shopping mission...
Think of shopping in Singapore, and it is likely that you will find yourself along Orchard Road, Singapore’s most iconic shopping street. Here in these sprawling malls, you can find nearly everything you need (or want), from the latest beauty products, to up and coming fashion must-buys, and books to keep you entertained on your daily commutes. But if you think Orchard Road is just about the shopping, you can’t be more wrong. In fact, some of the best cafes can be found right smack along this stretch – besides, brunch and shopping is one of the most perfect combinations, no?
These travel-inspired brunches are nothing short of delicious, and judging by how there’s almost always a queue during brunch time, everyone else seems to agree. Our favourites include the Spanish (pictured above), a dish of diced chorizo, Corned beef and potatoes with poached eggs on signature brioche, and the Brittany which comprises Panettone French Toast with baby bananas, salted caramel mascarpone, toffee’d hazelnuts and salted caramel sauce. Check out the Scotts Square outlet which is spacious and brightly-lit, and you can choose to dine in air-conditioned comfort or enjoy a breezy morning on the balcony area.
Wild Honey, locations at Scotts Square and Mandarin Gallery.
