Get these plant-based bites delivered right to your doorstep!
We’re almost midway into 2020 and it’s high time for foodies (plant-based or otherwise) to realise there’s more to vegan eats than salads. Don’t believe us? There’s a new kid on the vegan food block that’ll open your eyes – or tastebuds – to ridiculously indulgent burgers. Whether you’re a staunch vegan or a meat lover, Love Handle Burgers will satisfy your cravings for good American grub.
Stack ‘em up
If you’re anything like us, all-day breakfast is never a bad idea. Better yet, have it in the form of a Breakfast Vegan burger ($16). Wake up to brioche buns with an Impossible patty and vegan frittata, a crispy hash brown, plant-based cheese and a side of secret burger sauce.
For a universal favourite, you can’t go wrong with the classic cheeseburger ($10). Sandwiched between two perfectly cooked brioche buns, the Impossible meat patty, vegan cheddar cheese and pickles offer the perfect bite. Juicy and (vegan) meaty, these patties are worth doubling up if you’re feeling particularly ravenous. Alternatively, pair an Impossible patty with a mushroom one and you’ll get the Mushroom Cheese burger ($17).
Dreaming of local street food? We don’t know when pasar malams will start popping up again, but we’re already missing the delicious eats. Pleasingly, Love Handle Burgers has created the Vegan ‘Ramli’ burger ($15) for a familiar taste of the grill. Expect an Impossible patty stacked with an eggless frittata, topped with vegan garlic aioli and tangy BBQ sauce.
Cheeky sides
Even the veggies here are far from dull. Have the creamed spinach on its own or loaded atop a serving of fries. Hankering for more nibbles? Add some tempura broccolini or tofu nuggets (with BBQ sauce) to your order. Top it all off with a warm bowl of comforting tomato soup, made with delicious, natural tomatoes.
Already salivating? Go forth and order through Love Handle Burgers’ website (there’s islandwide delivery from Monday to Saturday from 11 am to 8:30 pm) or via GrabFood and Deliveroo within the CBD. Polish off this feast and you’ll be left wondering how vegan burgers could taste this good!
