Highlights from Negroni Week 2024: Sip on Negroni iterations by your fave bars
Negroni Week, founded in 2013, blends the love for classic cocktails with charity. What started small has grown into a global movement, raising over US$5 million for charitable causes.
For 2024, the event partners with Slow Food International, which is known for preserving traditional gastronomy and sustainable food practices. Bars worldwide will pay a registration fee, contributing to the Negroni Week Fund by Slow Food International in support of local projects. They can also donate a share of Negroni sales to their chosen local charities.
The 12th edition’s theme focuses on cinema emphasised through industry initiatives to spotlight the theatricality of bartending. This year, it’ll also be introducing the Wugroni in partnership with famed baijiu brand Wu Liang Ye.
This Negroni Week also coincides with the Campari Red Hands Asia Singapore Finals. Five Singapore finalists have put their creativity to the test by reimagining the classic Negroni, turning their concoction into the next potential aperitivo icon. Contestants are invited to break free from tradition and structure to redefine the boundaries of what an aperitivo can be for a chance to be crowned Singapore’s 2024 Campari Red Hand.
