Live music enthusiasts, you’ll want in on the details
Entertainment and music junkies, have your calendars at the ready: you are in good company if you love soul, electronica and a ‘lil rock & roll. Held in conjunction with entertainment conference All That Matters, indie music festival Music Matters Live is amplifying the experience with a monster lineup of over 30 emerging acts from more than 14 countries – so you can definitely expect some smashing riffs.

This eighth edition will feature emerging bands and artists from Asia and other parts of the world. Taking centre stage at Clarke Quay’s Fountain Square from 7 to 8 and from 10 to 12 September at participating venues in the area, the first wave of artists include rock & roll band 88Balaz (Taiwan), singer-songwriter Ben Catley (Australia), rapper DanAKADan (US) and electronic group Chores (New Zealand). But that’s not all – stick around for all five days, and you’ll be grooving to more hits from emerging talents at other participating venues such as Warehouse, McGettigan’s and Zouk, and more. Did we mention that all of these performances are free?

With heaps of amazing live music to check out, we say hop on the bandwagon and bring your fellow music lovers to Clarke Quay. Don’t forget to keep tabs on updates via the Music Matters Live site – we hear they’ll be unveiling more artists soon.
Psst…
Don’t forget to check out All That Matters, which is returning to the Ritz Carlton Millenia from 7 to 12 September. For the uninitiated, this is where industry players from the international music, sports, online entertainment, gaming and marketing arenas converge for a five-day conference.
