Breezy is the word of the hour at Muji this season – we’re talking minimal, lightweight wear and refreshing eats to whisk you through the warm weather.
Summer is all about comfy dressing, fresh eats and sweet treats – at least, if Muji’s latest update is any indication!
Pared-down basics perfect for the capsule (or not) wardrobe
Let’s take a moment to appreciate T-shirts, shall we? They’re bloomin’ easy to wear, and there’s so much more to them than being a lazy outfit staple (though they’re good for that too, ngl). Pair them with shorts or berms for a beach, or layer them under a blazer for a smart casual look. Our must-haves: Muji’s organic, soft-to-the-touch cotton T-shirts has us fawning over their comfiness and quality.
The magic is in the cultivation processes. Not spraying pesticides or using artificial fertilisers are a given, but Muji’s cotton producers take it a step further by only growing cotton on soil that has not been touched by these chemicals for more than three years. Lounge in these breezy tees (and bottoms) knowing that they were created in a process that’s friendly to the environment and to the people who helped make it.
Cotton is one of the most important material being used in Muji products and and since 2018 all cotton used in clothing are organic. Organic Cotton is cotton grown in soil that has not used pesticides or fertilizers for more than 3 years.MUJI is promoting manufacturing with the aim of realizing "a pleasant living", carrying a message of a “feeling good life” that relates to a good material not only for the person using it, but also for the person making it. If the people who produce the raw materials of our products are at risk, we thought that would not be the realization of a real "good life".

This feel-good summer menu is simply sublime
Wanna treat your body to good food? There’s no need for extensive meal prepping or downing tasteless greens. Hand to heart, no one does wholesome yet satiating eats like Café&Meal MUJI. This deli places as much emphasis on flavour as it does on eating foods at the height of their freshness, which means that you’ll be getting all the nutrition you need without sacrificing on taste.
Load up on Japanese seasonal dishes – think savoury octopus seasoned with lime and dill paired with summer fruits, topped with grapefruit mustard dressing; or pork collar drizzled with the tropical combination of tomato broth and roasted pineapple salsa. Even the desserts are addictive without being overwhelmingly saccharine: we love the peachy dome that tantalises with its mellow sweetness, buttery base and silky raspberry and peach jelly filling. Now, if only we could eat like this everyday…
