You know it’s a fruitful day when you leave with shopping bags and a full stomach. Meta: Millenia Walk promises you’ll leave with shopping bags and a full stomach after a great day
The worst thing about Christmas shopping? The travelling. Nothing is more annoying than having to move from one mall to another to tick off presents (and with the weather recently, it’s just a whole new gamble). And then there’s also sustenance and a place to rest your weary feet. After an afternoon of shopping, you don’t just want to grab a snack. You want proper food because you deserve it.
Which is why we’re picking Millenia Walk as the place to get it all done – without leaving the premises. With tenants that range from fashion, sportswear and food, selecting gifts is a cinch. And when you’re laden with bags, it’s a short stagger to a restaurant to treat yourself.
After an afternoon of shopping, treat yo’ self to a festive dinner right here
Forget hiking to multiple malls. Stay put at Millenia Walk to get your shopping done and reward yourself with a good meal.

AM: The Shopping
With wellness and fitspo being the buzzwords of 2018, TripleFit Retail is our store pick (yes, the same fitness facility of the same name – this is its retail arm!). It’s chock-full with brands including the likes of Under Armour, C3Fit, Newline, Every Second Counts and Odlo, which makes life easier when you’re choosing a compression tights, sneakers, or a simple shirt.
And if you’re a practical gifter who prefers to choose items you know for sure will be used and appreciated, you’ll want to go for food and drink. The Whisky Distillery is the only whisky-focused specialist in the country, and its spoils include the House of Suntory selection of Japanese whisky for all the booze-loving people in your life. Plus, there’s a special Christmas deal for 12 year old Auchentoshan at $99 (worth $119)!
And Plentyfull, with its honest to goodness approach to food, supplies you with festive hampers ($38++) for your foodie friends. Settle in for a Christmas Slate Platter ($98++) of three roast meats (truffle butter chicken, Grand Marnier scented turkey, orange and rosemary porchetta or angus prime rib) and three sides. It’s a tough choice between roasted garlic potatoes, grilled asparagus and young carrots, roasted chestnut with bacon, wasabinas and kale and truffle mac and cheese. There’s even a free prosecco (worth $68++) thrown in*.
PM: The Feasting
Come 7pm, put those shopping bags down at one of the many restaurants in the mall. In fact, if you can’t even bear the thought of heaving your loot to the carpark after a meal, you’ll love the Park & Dine concept: you can park your ride along the 280m private street, which also plays host to 11 restaurants. If traditional meal of steamed rice and dishes is your kind of comfort food, Yayoi Japanese Teishoku Restaurant is always a safe bet.
For more Japanese favourites, the obvious pick is Nihon Street on Level 2 of the mall, designed to evoke a traditional Japanese street scene. It’s a cluster of restaurants that features Japanese cuisine for all budgets and tastes. Carnivores will head to Gyu Jin Shabu Shabu & Sukiyaki for the magic of a free-flow beef buffet (from $31.90++) that includes wagyu (nope, your eyes read right).
But for those who just want to sink into hearty Western fare, tuck into burgers or pastas at Fumee by Habanos. Alternatively, indulge in a two course festive set dinner at $33++ per person. The sprawling space has both indoor and outdoor seating, and you can tuck in while listening to the strains of live music.
You know where to find us.
