LEGOLAND Malaysia’s Brick-Tacular Wonderland brings snow, Santa and Xmas prizes!
We know there are lots of you parents hanging out with us here on Honeycombers (hands up over here) and you’re looking for ways to survive the school holidays with the kiddos. Well here’s how to win mum/dad of the year: a Christmas holiday at LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort for Brick-Tacular Winter Wonderland! It’s on all throughout December, and we hear there’s going to be snow, a visit from Santa, fireworks and sleighful of prizes (more on all this in a moment). But you know it: hopping over the border to hit all the rides in the theme park, go for a splash in the water park and spend a night or two in the hotel is gonna make your kid’s Christmas. Besides, we know a lot of you still dream of being a master builder one day…
Snow and Santa in the tropics!
We all know this is one of the best theme parks in Asia, but did you know that here in Singapore we’re this close to the biggest LEGOLAND in the world? Whether you’re a newbie or you know the place like the back of your hand, now is the time to visit as the park has been transformed for the festive season.
Step into Santa’s Grotto to share a letter with your wishlist, meet the man himself and snap the best family Christmas pic ever, build your own Lego snowman and decorations to hang around the park and explore an igloo or build your own snowman! Join a Christmas carol singalong, and dance with Santa’s elves, Rudolph and the Lego Toy Soldier at the Jingle Bell Ball.
The massive Duplo Lego Christmas tree will be quite the sight – it’s the tallest in Southeast Asia and is made from 427,695 blocks – and if you time your visit for Saturday 29 December, you’ll catch the brilliant 3D Lego Fireworks Music Show with Lego bricks falling from the sky.
Yes we promised there’d be snow, and you know this is one special treat for kids who live in the tropics: the theme park has worked some Christmas magic to bring on snowfall every half hour in front of Big Shop!
A whole month of prizes: including a car and family trip to Denmark!
LEGOLAND is pulling out all the stops, with fun surprises and prizes being revealed every day throughout December. You can’t miss the daily Advent Calendar Draw: RM 100,000 (that’s over SGD 33,000) worth of prizes is up for grabs! Are you an annual pass holder? On Christmas Day, you could win a brand new car for the fam – a Nissan Almera. And how’s this for one epic prize: Legoland Malaysia and Finnair will send one lucky family to Legoland, Bullund, Denmark for a holiday! Are you in?
It’s all about imagination
We’ve all seen the magic of Lego: we grew up with it ourselves and now watch how it sparks our kids’ imagination when they’re free to build and create. Lego Academy – open year-round – is all about stimulating your child’s creativity, encouraging teamwork and stretching their imagination with educational workshops and challenging building zones. But beyond this, a trip here is also pure fun, with legendary rides The Dragon roller coaster, the Joker Soaker and of course Lego Ninjago The Ride to thrill the whole fambam.
