Whenever we meet cool, inspiring people, our first instinct is to jump into a tête-à-tête and have them spill all – their successes, failures, favourite cocktail -in an interview. But, we know, there’s nothing like hearing stories first-hand.
That’s why, in 2015 we’re launching HoneyTalks. This is a series of power-packed, thought-provoking lunches that will inspire you and give you access to our guest speakers who are fearless, innovative, fabulous people who, quite frankly, blow our minds.
Kicking off the first edition of HoneyTalks is wonder woman Emily Hamilton, the brains behind multi-million dollar enterprises Bellabox and SkinnyMint. Along with twin sister Sarah, Emily launched Bellabox in October 2011. In less than two years, the curated beauty box service has subscribers in the tens of thousands in Singapore and Australia, partnerships with more than 200 global beauty brands, and a team of 12 employees. To date, Bellabox has received $7 million in investor funding, of which a significant portion came from Fairfax Media, owner of Allure, Popsugar, and The Australian Financial Review.
Not one to rest on her laurels, Emily went on to start SkinnyMint, a 100% natural teatox programme, in 2013. Today, it’s widely endorsed by social media influencers around the world, boasts close to 90,000 likes on Facebook, and nearly 5,000 Instagram posts hash-tagged #skinnymint – all these in slightly over a year. If that’s not an impressive portfolio, we don’t know what is.
How did she do it? Join us as Emily talks through her amazing entrepreneurial journey, sharing success stories, business tips, and trade secrets over a delicious three-course power lunch. You won’t be disappointed.
