A big fan of the famous feline cartoon character, Hello Kitty? Singapore will soon have her first Hello Kitty cafe this May, serving all-day breakfast, coffee, brunch, souvenirs and more
Thought the Hello Kitty McDonald’s craze in Singapore was nutters? Brace yourselves, ’cos you ain’t seen nothing yet. This May, Sanrio’s world-renowned fictional feline, Hello Kitty, is jetting its way to Singapore to open its first ever Hello Kitty-themed café at Changi Airport Terminal 3. Named Hello Kitty Orchid Garden, the cafe will certainly be an inviting, kawaii coffee and brunch spot that’ll provide both local and international visitors a great breather during their voyage.
Inspired by the orchid (Singapore’s national flower) – and with its aim to mimic the garden city vibe – Hello Kitty Orchid Garden is one pit-stop you cannot miss when visiting Changi Airport. Not only will you be served with heavenly brewed coffee, you can also find an array of unique and appetising snacks here. The local-inspired menu offers all-day breakfast options, and has a great selection of Instaworthy Kitty-fied sweet treats such as gelato sundaes, waffles, pastries and teacakes.
Also, don’t leave this whimsical floral paradise without its must-have Hello-Kitty mementos from the retail corner. Here, you can find an assortment of Singapore-exclusive merchandise, such as Hello Kitty-inspired tea blends, plush toys, postcards and tea cups that’d get a smile outta Hello Kitty (mouth or no mouth).
Till we’ve sussed out further deets, stay tuned for more updates.
