Did Bill Skarsgård’s portrayal of the iconic bloodthirsty clown Pennywise scare the brave out of you in the cinemas? If you’re in for a similar thrill, CÉ LA VI has something creepy in store. The spectacular rooftop nightclub is bringing back London’s Cirque Le Soir this Halloween, to dazzle us with magicians, sword swallowers, acrobats, exotic dancers and freaky clowns (the worst!). Come in your best Halloween gear, but If you’re not scary enough, there’s a Halloween makeover booth for a hair-raising transformation.

The Night Call: 28 October at 1-Altitude
A doctor’s appointment is not needed to visit 1-Altitude’s “hospital from hell”, decorated from rooftop to dance floor in blood and gore. Keeping you company is Dom Perignon, as well as the team of resident DJs Leonard T and Jack T at Ward 63 and internationally renowned DJ collective AOS at Ward 61. Make a wicked splash at W Singapore’s night pool party this Halloween! Singapore’s first cashless bar and club has something up its bloodied sleeves. Come and ‘meat’ your creepy host who has transformed the venue into a slaughterhouse with three spine-chilling attractions to check out. There’s no turning back on this one – once you’re in, you either get a lucky treat (complimentary entry when you come in costume before 10pm) or become the unlucky dead meat.

The Laboratorium of Horror: 28 October at Zouk
The party folks at Zouk never run out of ideas, do they? The iconic superclub always goes all out during Halloween, and it’s rolling out the heebie-jeebies this year with a sci-fi horror-themed party that would even freak your grandma out. Zouk will be transformed into a grisly dystopian science lab alongside eerie elements like a psychopathic scientist. Will you survive this spine-tingling rave?

Even ghosts and ghoulies have to party, and this is one Halloween-themed haunt that’s set to be a real thriller. The party-proficient enclave of Clarke Quay, VLV, is hosting a blood-curdling bash featuring international guest DJ Katch, known for his club anthem ‘The Horns’. Electric Dreams: 21 October at VLV
VLV is back with the final instalment of the Electric Dreams trilogy. Another Halloween party not to be missed, PHRESH is hosting a nightmare of a party — Bloody Halloween Party — where you can trick and devour on delicious treats. If you’re all about Netflix and chill, here’s one to Netflix and shrill. One of our favourite riverside clubs, Canvas, will play host to the Upside Down party, presented by Flash. As the name suggests, you can either turn up as a character from Stranger Things, or from other hit Netflix series like The Get Down, The Defenders, Orange is the New Black, and more, for a free entry. The Ghost Ship — Haunted Cruise: 28 October on board the Royal Albatross
Give us your best “Arrr” and climb on board the pirate ghost ship (aka the Royal Albatross) this Halloween.
