Let your wild side loose with this high intensity class. The movements are inspired by animals, so prepare to crawl like a bear, walk like an iguana, and get in touch with your primal side. And don’t expect to be just monkey-ing around – the movements are super intense and will have you sweat-soaked in no time.
Strengthen your core with a Pilates Reformer class
Pilates Reformer fanatics, brace yourselves (and your abs) – Virgin Active is launching its very first Pilates Reformer studio at Holland Village, one of the few gym chains in Singapore to do so. Lengthen and strengthen with top-notch Stott reformer beds with cardio tramps.
Smash out a killer circuit on the GRID
Your muscles will be crying out after you smash this workout. Consisting circuits of strength and conditioning moves, this is a series of HIIT and functional training classes conducted on the GRID, a large functional area. Fret not if you’re clueless when it comes to circuit training – a GRID coach will be there to guide and cheer you on, or torture you (depending on how you look at it).
Intensify your yoga practice with Broga
Put aside all your usual expectations of a yoga class and up your yoga game with Broga. This unique class combines relaxing and stretching poses with heart rate spiking and high intensity exercises. After intense body weight-based functional movements (expect lots of planks!), enjoy the fruit of your labour with a stretching session. Namaste, indeed.
