Whether you’re looking for a classic Christmas turkey dinner or want to try a traditional Italian Feast of the Seven Fishes, there are festive dining options aplenty at Marina Bay Sands restaurants
When roast turkey, gingerbread houses, and Christmas logs come into the picture, it’s definitely the most wonderful time of the year. This festive season, leave the cooking to the pros at Marina Bay Sands, where their collection of fine restaurants are gearing up to serve an impressive holiday spread. All you have to do is gather ’round your loved ones and raise a toast, as the Lion City’s best festive feasts are under one roof.
Christmas dinners to go
Want to host a joyful soiree at home without going through the trouble of cooking up a whole feast by yourself? Lucky for you, Marina Bay Sands’ RISE restaurant is offering a festive takeaway menu for the first time ever this year! The incredible Christmas spread (available from 15 – 26 December) includes the hero of the day: a fat golden roasted whole turkey served with all its delicious trimmings. Go all out with a generous helping of creamy mashed potatoes, glazed carrots, vegetable medley, chestnut stuffing, giblet gravy, and cranberry sauce. If you don’t think that’s quite enough, finish off with some fancy Christmas pudding from Chef Tetsuya’s Patisserie Platine. Choose from three decadent cakes (available from 20 – 25 December): Champagne mousse with berries, chocolate tarte with orange and spice, and chocolate mousse with vanilla and macadamia, and your party will be a sure-fire hit.
Festive treats at SweetSpot hit, well, the sweet spot
‘Tis the season to be indulging, so why not treat yourself to an abundance of goodies at SweetSpot? Get into the Yuletide spirit with Christmas confections like their Black Forest and Chestnut Yule Logs (S$68). Traditionalists will love delightful classics like their Festive Fruit Cake (S$30) and spiced Gingerbread Man, while we’ll take SweetSpot’s Signature Christmas Tree (S$70) – a chocolate overload covered in candied almonds, toasted coconut flakes and chocolate Christmas ornaments! – over the real thing any day.
End the year in style at db Bistro & Oyster Bar
You only live once, so take a break from hosting Yuletide celebrations and merry-make with a luxurious meal at db Bistro & Oyster Bar. On Christmas Eve, tuck into a five-course fine-dining experience (S$145++) where Executive Chef Jonathan Kinsella plates up the season’s best ingredients (and yes, that means plenty of black truffle). Then, do it all over again on New Year’s Eve, for a lavish five-course extravaganza (S$198++) that includes a taste of Chef Daniel Bouloud’s famous “Black Tie” Scallops, a signature dish from 1987 which is only served during New Year’s Eve. Make sure you leave room for dessert, there’s a dark chocolate cassis mille feuille waiting to end things on a sweet note.
Experience an authentic La Vigilia celebration with a Feast of the Seven Fishes at Osteria Mozza
Couldn’t make it off the island for a vacation this holiday season? Then head to Osteria Mozza for the next best thing. Transport your taste buds on a festive journey with a traditional Italian Feast of the Seven Fishes where the seven-course Chef’s Tasting Menu (S$150++) includes must-try dishes like Kumamoto oysters, and blue crab and mascarpone ravioli.
